canon_400_f5-6Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 L USM

Pros: Lightweight, very sharp, practical, and from today, also "stabilized" on R7

Cons: Non-tropicalized

Opinion: I have had it for over a year and I must say that the fame it brings with it is justifiable. I don't have much to say.... It is a very sharp lens to almost all apertures and on R7 it becomes a stabilized 640mm 5.6 and it is incredible how a lens of 30 years ago not only works well on a mirrorless today but even renews itself becoming a stabilized lens. With the active ibis you can easily shoot handheld up to 1/200 .... this changes all the prospects of use for a lens that until yesterday demanded only fast times. Truly exceptional.

canon_eos_r7Canon EOS R7

Pros: Ergonomics, af (impressive), aps-c (a plus that I have been waiting for a long time on a mirrorless so), image quality (for those who know how to manage it), with the ibis all lenses stabilize

Cons: Missing a shoulder display, the sensor is not stacked, viewfinder decisively a little lacking

Opinion: I've had it for a year now. I use it mainly for macro photography and birdlife. I had several SLRs and I had been waiting for a long time for a 7D mirrorless that finally arrived. I read with amazement of a poor quality of images but it seems to me that these are the ones that speak both here and in other portals. Obviously they are the images of those who know how to use it ... the sensor is dense and can not clearly have the tightness of an FF but if you know how to manage it (from a correct shooting phase to the final processing) the satisfactions come immediately. The aps-c from 32mpx (in naturalistic a plus as far as I'm concerned) allows great things even with relatively distant subjects. The autofocus is really the strong point of this machine... Now mirrorless really play another game. It is another world and another sport as it recognizes the subjects, recognizes the eye of the animal even if it is distant, if there is little light and on the whole frame. Once before shooting it was focused and recomposed .... Today, in principle, compose without worrying about fire. Impressive speed thanks to the electronic shutter... 30 frames per second.... A video practically. Unfortunately the sensor is not stacked so be careful to use the electronics in certain situations. The ibis works excellently and even thirty-year optics not stabilized as the legendary 400 5.6 come back to life (with this lens I shot handheld quietly even at 1/150 on 640mm equivalent) Robust ... with a nice grip, fully customizable throughout. The price is high but it is worth it and remaining on the reduced format I do not see for now big alternatives without going down to the micro 4/3. Highly recommended especially for those who already have Canon.

dji_mavic_air2DJI Mavic Air 2

Pros: It's a DJI, excellent autonomy, great new radio control ergonomics, ocusync 2.0, intuitive application translated and well made, combo version complete even with ND filters

Cons: photographically, like every consumer drone (even the 2 pro) has limits to manage

Opinion: I've been using it for 4 months now. In flight, like all DJI is perfect, in hovering is a nail even with sustained wind thanks to the 4 powerful brushless engines. Finally a autonomy (28 full minutes) that allows studied and unhurried shootings. The new design of the remote control is definitely a step ahead of the old "chele", in the hands of safety and substance, metal cloche, with excellent resistance and the position of the smartphone on the top is decidedly more natural. Transmission with the best technology on the market, ocusync 2.0...high range and zero interference. The DJI fly app as far as someone sees it as bare compared to the GO, is constantly evolving, it has just released the 1.1.6 that introduces the advanced settings of the gimbal, I think that soon will not miss anything and everything in Italian. Gimbal obviously stabilized on 3 aces. Half-inch sony sensor that, pictured side, does what it can... we always talk about a consumer drone, to have a flying reflex you have to look at at least the inspire 2. Anyway there are panoramic modes (in my opinion the most "obvious" for a drone) really well managed and with which you can do interesting things. On the other hand, we are at the top. 4k to 60fps, slow motion at 240fps, hyperlapse 8k. The combo version I recommend is really complete: bag, 3 batteries, multiple charger, 3 sets of propellers and the novelty of the filters nd really indispensable for video shooting with classic motion blur.

canon_eos_m5Canon EOS M5

Pros: Use EF kit, compactness, weight, many ring nuts, very "macro-practical"

Cons: compactness, weight, autonomy, lag viewfinder

Opinion: After 7 months of use in a purely naturalistic field (avifauna, macro) I can express an almost definitive judgement. I took it mainly to do macro but I could not fail from trying it even where you need speed and where, I cmq brought home something, but aware that the 7d2 that I have is of another level as to ergonomics, speed, and accuracy. The lag of the viewfinder (typical of mirrorless) when you need operating speed really becomes a problem. A different story instead in macro, where the M5 is really preferred especially for the convenience of a touch and tilting display and a focus peaking that cmq useful. I put compactness and weight between the pros and the cons.... it depends on the use that it makes: it is a problem in the genres where you need a firm ergonomics and balanced Freehand.... is an advantage in the most "reasoned" on tripod. As a sensor we are on excellent levels and in processing you have no problems whatsoever if you work well in the shooting phase (as always on the other hand). In the gallery I have now several shots in high resolution to be seen... On A constructive level does not disappoint. Overall it is a very nice mirrorless that maybe it is out with a slightly excessive price but that I recommend to all those who are interested in such a machine, especially to those who already have a Canon SLR kit that wants to exploit via adapter (full Compatibility with everything for me) adding a light body to be used maybe with the 22 mm pancake for a quality and pocket configuration.

tamron_180macroTamron SP 180mm f/3.5 Di LD Macro

Pros: Price, sharpness, mafia ring

Cons: Af slow

Opinion: I have used a number of macro optics and I can say that this lens has an unimportant price ratio. Rn I've been using it for almost two years now. Two intense macro seasons on stand, used in many light conditions. Medium-to-high aperture sharpness, as well as any macro optics. What impressed me on this lens is the quality of the mafia ring, big and well frustrated ..... for a quick and accurate maf. It is a specific optic and is not recommended for other areas by the AF engine Definitely slow.rn As far as I'm concerned, two years of great satisfactions ... a purchase that I re-opened my eyes.rnrn

canon_7d_mark2Canon 7D Mark II

Pros: Robustness, speed, grip, cover almost total AF point, is not FF

Cons: Perhaps the battery, but I settled with the BG-E16

Opinion: I have it now 9 mesi.rnSono increased from Nikon to Canon for this machine and I am more than soddisfatto.rnIl FF does not interest me, for me it's a plus that a car so I do not think is the nature sia.rnIn the top .... af is fast and precise even with little hand luce.rnIn gives the idea of ??being indistruttibile.rnCiò I did not expect was the excellent usability of at high iso .... grained file, very gestibile.rnLa'll keep for a very long time.

sigma_150-500osSigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM

Pros: quality / price ... incredible ... 500mm f ultrasonic versatility .... ...

Cons: dim ...

Opinion: after a month of intense use ..... I hear my lens on this ..... the rich with the poor speak evil ... speak well ... I have chosen because they are poor and because I have seen some shots that are below ... I find that, as always, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. An incredible value for money .... not so much for the price but for the quality .... 8 is closed to fruibilissimo through the travel ... ago broom bodies that take good high iso .... robust is solid .... well made ... an excellent lens hunting in my opinion .... I am more than satisfied

tamron_90macroTamron SP 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro

Pros: great value / great ... prezzo...nitidezza size and weight ...

Cons: not received ....

Opinion: use with satisfaction now for several months this lens .... one of the best purchases I've ever made in the field of photography ... as far as I rigurda think the 90mm is more than enough ... the alarm early morning that I may also restrict subjects with restless ... I do not put anything between the counter .... I made this point to Macro, and I've never used the f .... always strictly tripod and manual focus .. recommended ;)

sigma_8-16Sigma 8-16mm f/4.5-5.6 DC HSM

Pros: the sharpness 8mm ... ... excellent construction

Cons: dim ... no filters ...

Opinion: I took this lens mainly for the focal length .... is the true wide angle aps-c .... seemed impossible to achieve without compromising a 8mm sigma succeeds ... and great. The lens ... very aspherical does not allow the use of filters .... it's good to know because someone can be a problem .... I use Color Efex Pro 3, and the problem I do not have place ... The excursion is internal and externally the length does not change. A lens that I recommend to all .... between 8mm and 10mm on aps-c there is a world of opportunity in more

nikon_d7000Nikon D7000

Pros: fabulous at high ISO, also good 6400. AF accurately and quickly. solid and durable.

Cons: nothing to say.

Opinion: I consider it the best machine on the market for natural .... together with the canon 7d .... Unlike the latter, however, with little light behaves considerably better. The sensor is great ... what is surprising, in addition to the noise content is the wide dynamic range that allows the recovery, especially shadows, excellent. The AF module multicam 4800 to 39 points .. along with the new EXPEED 2 processor and the new RGB metering sensor of 2016 pixels, the precise and fast, even in complicated situations. Structurally, magnesium and special anti dust there, so even maltrattandola not bat an eyelid. Consigliatissima.
