![]() | Canon 1DX Pros: Highlights noted: Record-breaking autofocus: It's incredibly fast, almost "telepathic". It follows moving subjects as if there were no tomorrow, and hardly loses the point of focus. For a sports or wedding photographer, this is a blessing. Burst Speed: It looks like a machine gun. The 12-14 frames per second (depending on settings) allows you to capture the exact moment, that fraction of a second that can make the difference between a good photo and an extraordinary one. Indestructible Construction: I've seen these machines take hits, get wet in the rain, and keep running. It gives incredible confidence, knowing that you can rely on it even in the most extreme conditions. Coming from the first series of the Sony A7, the quality and robustness that I perceived as soon as I took it in my hands is truly indescribable Battery life: It seems endless. You can shoot for a whole day without worrying about changing the battery, I don't work on it and so I forget the last change :) In the meantime I also bought a second battery and reading your reviews on the patona that did not have the counter I opted for a DSTE that for now is behaving exactly like the original. Cons: Aspects that I found a bit "difficult": Weight and size:(just know it) It's not a camera for walking. (you play your shoulder-with a shoulder strap or your back with your backpack and a couple of goals) :) If you have to use it for reportage in which you walk a lot, its weight is felt. It is also an investment in terms of equipment to carry it comfortably. You need a nice capacious bag given its height of about 18 cm which "forces" you to make certain choices Dated technology: It lacks some comforts to which we are used today. For example, the Wi-Fi (I took the wft-6b module) and the integrated GPS are not there, and the fixed rear display does not help in all those situations where you have to shoot from low or high angles. "Noise" of the shot: The shutter makes a rather forte.ma noise for me is COOL ... BUT In certain contexts, such as a silent ceremony or an event at the theater, it can be annoying. Opinion: "The best or nothing" is the slogan that defines the ideal of perfection, charm and responsibility associated with Gottlieb Daimler, the founder of Mercedes-Benz. =well apply this aphorism to the Canon 1DX ..... It is a high-end professional camera, a flagship designed for action, sports and reportage photography. Although it has been surpassed by the later models (Mark II and Mark III), it remains a reliable and high-performance "tank", it gives you the feeling of a true professional tool, reliable and without compromising on speed and robustness. If your priority is shooting in difficult environments, low light, with moving subjects, it is still a very valid choice today. It is a professional camera, so there are specimens around even with 600-700 thousand shots, but with a holy patience as they always say here on Juza, you can find some rare specimens such as in my case 11,500 shots and gentlemen..... WHAT do you do you don't buy on the fly!! yes buy it and you won't regret it, on the other hand it's a series 1, the files it churns out will repay you for the weight .... I have said everything. sent on September 16, 2025 |
![]() | Zeiss Loxia 21mm f/2.8 Pros: Material quality, construction accuracy, superlative sharpness, flare strength. Cons: The focus would have preferred it slightly softer. Opinion: The perfect optics, nothing to say. Pleasantly compact, the dimensions are very pleasant even with lampshed, derisory diameter, the ring of the diaphragms can be set with or without clicks depending on your preferences. The rear seal is excellent, which protects a little from dirt. Optical performance is undisputed, the best I've ever experienced from the best of itself between 5.6 and 8 stops. The microcrontranslative is superlative, the colors are full and alive.Very limited distortion the 21 mm here help. Good blurry, but the thing I love is the star light points that are created by closing the diaphragm is its business card a bit like voightlanders. Working with manual focus is not a problem indeed for a grandagol is the most logical thing even if you think of using filters of various types. For those who have always used with manually controlled cameras it will simply be a habit, for all those who like to use automatic mode it will take some time, but you will have the feeling of fully controlling the shot. For me Loxia 21 is the TOP then manual voul say forever. sent on July 02, 2021 |
![]() | Sony FE 85mm f/1.8 Pros: Build quality, weight/footprint, design, AF/MF button, customizable key/fire lock, troubleshooting Cons: Give A... or stingy quiver that you are nothing else?, the packaging is really sad and minimal, I think a little ' more ' cardboard pressed a little ' padding and a quiver did not devastate the economies of scale of those kids almond-eyed. ![]() | Minolta AF 28-135mm f/4-4.5 Pros: Robustness, quality Cons: It suffers from backlight and is not very light Opinion: Taken recently, but the quality is seen right away. Recommended by a friend. The Minolta AF 28-135mm F / 4-4.5 was one of the first lenses that Minolta came out when they went to the AF mount around 1985. I think it was a pretty expensive lens at the time. It is mostly made of metal, the only visible plastic is the magnification and focus rings, so it's heavy and weighs more than Minolta AF 70-210mm F / 4 that I bought shortly before the above. In addition to the very versatile range 28-135 that allows you to always have the so-called Gino with you. The lens color is the original, shiny black original AF Minolta Black, original Sony black. The zoom ring is coated with a rubber band, which slowly becomes white with age. A thorough cleaning with a damp sponge and a delicate soap gives the original look (done personally). It all comes with a microswitch for a few fUnpretentious macro looks to me 1: 4.rnA level of detail well above many canvases even if it pairs according to many with the 18-105 Series G.rnFor the flare is his Achilles heel ... It suffers enough but with some remedies it resolves at least in part. At a beautiful color level like all Minolta optics, some magenta fringes may occur in very strong light conditions. BnBokeh is great, especially in the presence of vegetation. You will notice moderate barrel distortion at the wide end, becoming flat around 40 -45mm.rnDays 50 up gives detailed portraits and great Bokeh.rnrn sent on August 04, 2017 |
![]() | Meyer Gorlitz Orestor 135mm f/ 2.8 Pros: 15 blades circular bokeh always, not by chance called "king of bokeh" .Materiali constructive valuable Cons: Lack of Af, in those years was a pipe dream, but I like it so, otherwise what fun c'é.Niente anti-reflective coating. Opinion: I was captivated by quedto Meyer, quality of other times, made optics of the highest level. A rare piece, my copy is in excellent shape and fluid mechanics crystalline lenses. Each photo has an exceptional bokeh f11 also fails to ensure the focused even the details and color rendering is not an scherzano.Volevo 135 jupiter style for his blurred soft and pleasant, but this is a cut sopra.Difetti do not see, we speak an optical whose production ceased at the end deglianni seventies, but technically it was already ahead. sent on April 20, 2015 |
![]() | Tamron SP 60-300mm f/3.8-5.4 Pros: Optical fantastic, still says its. Cons: You hear the 'absence of a dedicated support for the tripod. Opinion: A tele versatile ,, Wide Range, quality of materials, and what can we say of 'Adaptall, mounts everywhere.Hotel' I bought xi its 300 mm ,, but I rediscovered as the macro with its rr 1: 1, 55 are the envy of many macro dedicati.Naturalmente all manual, but the connoisseurs apptrezzeranno appieno.Semplicemente perfect cost accessibili.Se you find it does not pass this one ,, deserves a place of honor in your park objectives sent on February 02, 2015 |
