Pros: Material quality, construction accuracy, superlative sharpness, flare strength.

Cons: The focus would have preferred it slightly softer.

Opinion: The perfect optics, nothing to say. Pleasantly compact, the dimensions are very pleasant even with lampshed, derisory diameter, the ring of the diaphragms can be set with or without clicks depending on your preferences. The rear seal is excellent, which protects a little from dirt. Optical performance is undisputed, the best I've ever experienced from the best of itself between 5.6 and 8 stops. The microcrontranslative is superlative, the colors are full and alive.Very limited distortion the 21 mm here help. Good blurry, but the thing I love is the star light points that are created by closing the diaphragm is its business card a bit like voightlanders. Working with manual focus is not a problem indeed for a grandagol is the most logical thing even if you think of using filters of various types. For those who have always used with manually controlled cameras it will simply be a habit, for all those who like to use automatic mode it will take some time, but you will have the feeling of fully controlling the shot. For me Loxia 21 is the TOP then manual voul say forever.

Pros: Construction quality and robustness. compactness. Sharpness and color rendering.

Cons: Focus sometimes a little critical

Opinion: Excellent objective, it manifests in detail the quality and construction care used. Clarity and rendering of superlative colors. Manual focus can be critical, even with the magnification of the electronic viewfinder, but you make your hand with use. You don't have to trust the focus field too much because the rendering of the details is sharp and at the magnification of the image they can turn out to be light out of focus at the ends of the field. The iris ring is decryptable for movie use, but in photo mode I would have preferred more decisive and less soft shots. If we want to find a defect, when it engages on the machine, with mounted lampshon, you can get taken on the latter to rotate, but to disengage the lens there is not a part that does not rotate and you have to get to the end of the stroke of the focus ring or the diaphragm to succeed.

Pros: Crisp, manual, small, exif data in the car, light but the right, construction looks excellent, metal lampshed with inside with velvet or fabric and finally I left the colors last but no less important

Cons: I admit that I do not know, perhaps the cost from new (I took it used), here is an optics for aware, because 21 is not ultra wide angle like a 14 while compared to 24/28 you see that you have more breath; as I wrote it in the proposals I put it back here is manual (maybe someone may not like it I absolutely just wanted it manual)

Opinion: It's the first opinion I write, but this view is really nice! From the all-metal and glass construction to the small details such as a screw that makes the diaphragm ring decryptable (useful for video). The yield is what you would expect from a zeiss lens especially in the rendering of colors.. The sharpness is very good but for example in the center looking at the photo 300% is not equal to the sigma 24 art (monstrous sharpness of the latter). I come back to the color because opening the file has these beautiful vivid but very natural colors, so it is not as sharp as a 24 art in the center but has a beautiful yield. The construction seems to be very good, the end of the fire does not correspond voluntarily to infinity, but it is written on the booklet that is made on purpose in order to guarantee a little tolerance for the thermal expansion that it could undergo (this is a small detail but makes you understand the attention to the design and construction of the optics). Chapter weight, it is not in itself very light weighs just under 400 grams, but attached to the machine is perfectly balanced. You shoot quietly with one hand and do not tire in the least take it with you. Chapter scope of use, this perspective in my opinion is the top for both natural and urban landscapes, and very good for architecture where it seems to have a very good distortion correction. All this makes it an optics to gladly take out around even when you do not have a precise photographic destination or when you know that the trip involves many but many walks and lightness becomes an important factor.

Pros: sharpness,flare resistance,small,compact,bright,completely metal

Cons: grafting on the bayonet a little difficolosto ,manual fire if it can be a con

Opinion: Some time ago after several researches I decided to take this wide lens ,I was undecided with the Batis 18 but it seemed too extreme so I decided for it,until now I can only talk about it excellently ,it is small, beautiful heavy for size and built divinely. Manual fire could scare those who are not used to it as i was, but after taking a hand it is very simple, also thanks to the automatic magnification and focus peaking, the resistance to flares is fantastic, in short for me it is perfect practice! I could and cost less I'd take the whole Loxia series, they're phenomenal

Pros: Absolute sharpness, three-dimensionality, solid and compact, distance scale, diaphragms and depth.

Cons: Virtually no one

Opinion: Used with Sony A7RII produces absolutely amazing files in every situation, even at night at 12,800 ISO. Being able to see at a glance the diaphragm set is a pleasure, the manual focus allows to work in hyperfocal with a precision and a speed that no autofocus system allows. An optical masterpiece, irreplaceable for those who interpret photography, to quote HCB, as a "hard fun".
