![]() | Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6 E ED VR Pros: Image quality, reduced weight (in relation to the focal length reached), price. Cons: Horrible plastic hood, a little laborious to insert. Opinion: The optics has a really good price ratio. It delivers sharp, contrasting shots. It does not have a pro construction and can not compete with fixed supertels (I had the 300 f2.8 and the 200-400 f4 vr II), but it still stands very honestly. Basically, I strongly recommend it except to those who often sneak in particularly hostile conditions. sent on September 28, 2017 |
![]() | Nikon D810 Pros: Solidity, autofocus, dynamic range, ability to recover light and shadow. Cons: Honestly I can not find, at least for the utilizzzo that I do (nature photography fauna of high mountains). If someone creates problems heavy files or if you are looking for a better burst, there are other options, however, which in turn benefits and limitations. Opinion: I must say that after having owned D300s, D7100 and D610, the D810 I really found what I was looking for. I find it very robust and practical to use. Of course it also has some limitations in some areas, but the perfect machine for all does not exist! Falls well in hand and of secondhand very accurate both in focus, both in following moving subjects. Ever since I own, in post production, almost no work on more clarity, because it is amazing the outset. In general, if you expose properly, RAW files require really very few interventions. Absolutely satisfied with the choice. For my kind of nature photography, and practically almost exclusively in the mountains, is perfect! sent on February 15, 2015 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/4 G ED VR Pros: VR impressive sharpness and efficient. Dimensions, weight and ergonomics absolutely appreciable. Cons: Nobody. Opinion: I got it recently, but I must say that is a lens completely failed from all points of view. Lightweight, razor-sharp, quick and stabilizer scary. You can use it for long periods without getting tired and lack the bracket does not feel at all. If you do not always fire and only in low light situations, but require a very short time, you can safely choose it as an alternative to 2.8. Consigliabilissimo. Taken NITAL to 1190. It's worth all widely. sent on October 31, 2013 |
![]() | Nikon D7100 Pros: Lightness, image quality. Cons: Buffer ridiculous. Opinion: I took the D7100 ten days ago, to tile the D300s, a tank, but it suffers a bit 'too much when you look up ISO.rnSotto the appearance of the image quality, after a couple of days (and a thousand shots) in Parco del Gran Paradiso, with highly variable lighting conditions (from rain to full sun), I can say that the files generated by the D7100 seem to me very beautiful. The photos appear sharp, the wider dynamic range than the D300s and seal at high ISO satisfactory. I took only up to ISO 1600, but the results in my opinion far superior to the other body in possesso.rnLa my focus is quick and responsive and the exposure of optical preciso.rnNecessita adequate (I always shot with AF- S 300 f2, 8 VRII). rnCerto, if they serve long bursts, the problem of the buffer is clear. I would say for those who do not plan to go to the FX is still a good solution, with a value for money definitely beneficial. sent on July 11, 2013 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S 300mm f/4 D ED Pros: Optical quality is really good, interesting minimum distance of focus, lightweight and affordable. Cons: Missing VR. Tripod socket is not perfect (according to some) Opinion: I have this lens for about three months and I'm excited. In my opinion it has a remarkable clarity and find it really perfect, not only for the photo hunt (especially on DX bodies like my D300s), also for photographs to medium-sized insects (butterflies and dragonflies) by the minimum distance focus of about 140 cm. According to many the bracket to the tripod transmit vibrations. In my case I would say no. Just tighten the screws and the sharpness is great, even with a long time and without raising before the mirror. Unfortunately does not have VR, otherwise it would be really almost perfect perspective. sent on September 27, 2011 |
