![]() | Fujifilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR Pros: Construction, weight, speed of AF, price, image quality Cons: Perhaps the focal length, perhaps the fact of having "close" lenses superior Opinion: Tried for 3 hours at Firenze Photo Marathon, with over 100 photos taken I can confirm that the build quality is excellent as the whole series F2 WR, it is very light that seems not to have it, good for the street. Even the optical quality of the image is really high. So what is the problem? I think there is no if you do the purchase with awareness. The 50mm becomes a 75mm EQ, focal that could be used for street and portraiture and narrow portraits in interiors also thanks to the only 39cm of minimum focusing distance. -Sure for street you could prefer the 18F2 or the F2 WR series The 23mm (35 eq) and the 35mm (50 eq) Perhaps more suitable as a field angle, also tropicalized and with AF super responsive and with a similar price. -From a purely ritrattistico point of view Fuji itself offers the 56mm F 1.2 R that will make a lot of throat to those who love this kind of photo and the 90mm F2 WR, of course the second is a 135 EQ so well distant to the 75 EQ, these two lenses cost twice the 50mm but it is also true That in the world of used can find them on 600 euros and maybe still under warranty (as it happened to me that I chose the end of the 56mm). -Another consideration is that the 50mm focal is full of vintage that while being MF can offer another alternative to buying the Fuji, especially on the portraiture side, I think of the Zeiss Planar F 1.7, at the Minolta Rokkor F 1.4, at the Pentax Takumar F 1.4 that prowl On the 80-100 euros or the most expensive Zeiss Planar F 1.4 (180-200 euros) and the Leitz Summicron F2 (optics owned, really nice that is on 220-300 euros depending on the conditions). So surely the 50mm F2 WR is a lens that if taken for street-reportage more journalistic background than pure ritrattistico, to be combined with the excellent 23mm F2 WR or at 18mm F2 allows you to have a very light kit, almost do not feel it in the neck and in the first case also tropical I feel that together with Xpro2 and XT2 create a nice system, but that is more perfect for smaller camera bodies, I think of xt20 etc. Personally during its use I was thrilled, I was almost convinced to take it and then have a kit 23 + 50 + 90/55-200 but in the end cause excellent offer and predilection of portraits for my photographic style I opted for the 56 recreating the pair 23 + 56 = 35 + 85 EQ . With the possibility to extend the kit in the future (I strongly estimate the 14mm F 2.8, the 80mm f 2.8 Macro and the 55-200). sent on May 14, 2018 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 80mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR Macro Pros: Image quality, construction, weight Cons: Not able to find one trial cause too limited in time Opinion: I tried this great lens during the photo marathon in Florence. What about, those few hours that I had it available is a great lens. Assembled perfectly, perfectly balanced with the XT2 with a weight that for my taste is great for the lens that it is. Contrast and sharpness from macro lens really top. Tropicalized. I couldn't find any flaws, maybe because of the limited use, maybe because it has none. High price but very appropriate to the quality of the lens. sent on May 13, 2018 |
![]() | Leica Summicron-R 50mm f/2 Pros: Materials, slow qualities, color yield, size Cons: built-in lampshade a little short, findability, the addiction that creates Opinion: I chose the Leica and not the zeiss because it found under price, the same to which I would take the planar to understand us, also take a lens F1.4 but have to close it to f2 to have according to many, a very good level of yield on a modern ml like the xt2 so much worth p make a lens that already at f2 was very good. For sharp speech, a separate chapter should be opened. Because if you go and take a vintage optics and demand a sharpness of a signa art maybe there is an initial misjudgment. Also for the human portrait to have a non-foreign sharpness to an open diaphragm as f2 allows a more gradual passage of the plans, solves some imperfections of the skin and leaves that feeling more dreamlike, all the more so on a very beautiful rendering as this leitz. On the xt-2 it becomes a 78mm eq to be precise, through focus peaking there are no problems to focus also because f2 is not so open. In my opinion taken at a price on 300 euros, maybe something less, but in good condition it is a lot of stuff and ties the shoes to many modern goals. Of course entering the leic world then creates addiction in fact now I'm desperate... jokes aside if you find it buy it without problems, if then you have a ml FF then it must be taken absolutely. sent on February 21, 2018 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2 R WR Pros: Lightweight, construction, quality lenses, speed af, minimum diaphragm, color rendering Cons: Not found Opinion: Objective designed for ml, built according to perfect construction standards. A fast 35 eq very good to perform the required functions. From a 35 mm you expect excellent sharpness and lightning fast quality, must capture the street and the portrait set, should not have distortion, must be light to keep it mounted hours and hours. At f2 is considered "soft" ... what to say it seems a very sensible choice because it improves the quality of the portrait by not highlighting any imperfection and making the bokeh more pleasant, which for me, on a 35mm eq is not the first thing I go to see (I would do a lot more on 50 eq or even 80 and 135 eq). I think it's the most centered of the f2 wr series! It is already also tropicalized that never hurts !! I said the most centered because the 35 f2 still perfect for the street but with less breath if the fight with the 1.4 1.4 that is used at a similar price and that already makes you want more to get a portrait bokeh and costs much less than the 56 f1.2 that used è a new white unicorn costs a nice sum. The 50 f2 I find a length that is strange in the sense that it is not enough canvas (see 90), can not compete with 56mm and I think therefore has less market, but perhaps it is my personal opinion (I would choose only to combine with 23 if I had to make an extremely hard trip to have lightness and tropicalization). So after this digression on the family f2 23mm should be taken without thoughts and what you save by not taking f1.4 reinvested in 35 1.4 (which costs less than the homologue 23mm) or in any other perspective you fall in love! Consider also the vintage that of 50mm there are many sent on February 18, 2018 |
![]() | Manfrotto zaino per reflex, laptop, obiettivi, piccolo (MB MA-BP-A1) Pros: Perfect size for city use, good materials, comfortable, anti-rain cover, indiscreet passes and this is a nice pro, net to pass the handle of the trolley in travel, two small lower eyelets that with 2 additional laces allow you to fix the 3piedi instead of the normal lateral fastening from recommended manfrotto Cons: they could conceive the hinges in such a way as to pass one of the small travel padlocks to increase security during transfers Opinion: Value for money excellent.rnCapiente for accessories not photographic: go out in the morning with 2 bottles of water on the sides, sandwich, city guide, and folded windbreaker / sweatshirt and still advances something.rnCapiente as photographic accessories: there is comfortable the 6d with the 35mm f2 is, 85mm in its own right and all the cables and batteries, organizing there are also 3 objectives without too many problems at least that 2 of these are not super-telephoto. I'm undecided with other proposals of the same seller, one in all the Active 2 but then trying it in the store I found it cumbersome for a daily and non-technical use for ultra professional use at that point (to be clear from safari ..), other models seemed interesting but in the end he convinced me and I would not go back. Comfortable shoulder straps, useful hooking to unload on the shoulders, comfortable the possibility to hook under the tripod even if they do not tell you, useful the rain cover that allows a peace of mind that even the most technical backpack without a cover will never give you. in short, to be takenWithout hesitation. sent on January 11, 2018 |
![]() | Canon 6D Pros: Sensor, size and weight, iso, center point AF, wi-fi Cons: Shutter speed of only 1/4000, total number of AF points (only 11), AF "extreme" points, Brush speed, sometimes underestimated Opinion: I have been using my 6D for 3 years now so let's say I know the car well and I've been playing it enough. It has its limits that are known: I certainly would not feel like advising the 80% who photographed racing cars, birds, etc. due to too modest shutter speeds and bursts. Rn- The AF points that when I bought it did not seem to be so few, now I start to feel the need of someone else say that I would prefer to have at least 15 but above all sorry for the little use of extremes, we say that more than 11 They only use only 9, the two extremes sometimes cause problems. Rn- My model only seldom underlies and say it did a lot more when I was 24-105L compared to now that I have 35 f2 is usm and 85 f1.8 usm, however with only a +1/3 for my Personal tastes bastarnBene now we go on positive notes: it offers a gorgeous sensor that falls in love at first sight, finally iso is no longer a problem, it has the maneuverability and weight of an APSC. If you are not a photographer who has a useExtremely limited as I said above, and you look good that I almost all the years go to the Mugello Moto gp and with a little eye and knowing to truncate 1 photo every 3 of which then only 1 of the two meet me full (that Because I'm exaggerated) I never put my hands in my hair despairing. I am very happy, however, and I am fully convinced that I still keep it for many years after I have passed a middle-aged crisis (I had as many as the mirrorless monkey then for my great luck it went after having tested it thoroughly, maybe in another 3 years I will re-evaluate the choice, never say never). sent on July 17, 2017 |
![]() | Canon EF 85mm f/1.8 USM Pros: Sharpness, Bokeh, weight, value for money Cons: AC not so disabling though slightly present, tremendous hail attack, AF not so fierce as many claim Opinion: Purchased used after the 100f2 strike, a lens I worshiped as a rendered but as a focal length gave me the feeling of being sometimes along other shorts. We say 85mm is the cousin 100's narrower but much more inflatable given its use also For those who have the APSC format. So sold to a friend the 50 stm I was really amazed I found the 85 used by a forum user at a more than acceptable price. I found that this focal length I love and I love to recommend it as it allows you to range from a set portrait / full figure without having too much space between you and the subject (thus avoiding interfering in the middle of things / things) on the tight first plane Approaching the subject. Let's say I'm one who loves paired 35-85. The Bokeh is great, the high level clarity, a weight that makes the 85mm-6D kit great. As for the confrontation with rivals: -I Tamron 85mm 1.8 I excluded because of the same diaphragm is 2 times more expensive, 2 times moreHeavy and did not give me the feeling that he could be the ultimate goal, as in fact I did not even own the canon, but the expense and the ability to sell it quickly without big losses calmed me. - The sigma 85mm 1.4 art had seriously evaluated it as 1.4 and the bokeh that could make me curious. But reading several magazines and discussions here in the forum I found that it is compared to KING (Canon f1.2 L) but in reality there are concerns about the "true" focal that seems to be more than an 80mm and especially with regard to the Bokeh . Now I belong to the array of semi-pro photographers who if they look for a portrait portrait in order evaluate Bokeh and Central Sharpness. To have a crazy sharpness from one end to the other at the 1.4 or 2 ends I do not care much since first of all it is not a 35mm in which it would be a fundamental feature, if I want the sharpness just close at f4, f5.6 and Also the good canon 85mm 1.8 from crazy results (over 3200 LW%2FPH photozone.de data). In any case, if I buy a 85mm, 90% of the photos will have f <2.8 so in search of a bokeh more or less intense. In light of these considerations I was told to spend 1200 euros and have a 1130g lens for these features it was not the case at that point I would dictate the King used at the same price and weight but let's say it ... f1.2 rnThen my Opinion and how I got to buy the 85mm f1.8 I would do 100 more times. sent on July 17, 2017 |
![]() | Canon EF 100mm f/2.0 USM Pros: Aperture, sharpness, blurry, construction, AF, value for money, no exaggerated weight Cons: A haze of poor quality with a bad attachment. Focal length not easy to handle Opinion: The best portrait goal ever bought. Taken since I was coming from 24-105L and I used the 105 I chose 100f2 instead of 85 because they spoke slightly better the reviews and I thought it was a focal length I like and already known. It emphasizes the marked features, a specialist in older people's photos less in my child's photos. Absolutely to buy. The identity card is not truthful. Unfortunately I was stolen and I decided, also for a business question to take the 85 as it is more inflationary given its use in the apsc. To be honest with time it turned out to be an unclear focal length, which is why I decided to buy the 85 sooner, perhaps more prone to half a bust and joined the 35th should make a winning pair. We'll see. In any case, the 100 is a great lens that will not disappoint, indeed. I'll let you know then the comparison with 85. sent on June 24, 2017 |
![]() | Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Pros: In addition to performing the functions you would expect I must admit that it has a magic almost boken, which I greatly appreciated and that astonished me Cons: At that price nobody Opinion: Bought and used for 2 months now I only sold it because it is a circular check and after a disaster with another lens of my kit I needed to monetize. That said, I used it for 14 days in Cuba. Where I have ranged from street to portraiture, even just face as the Cubans are an extremely sociable people and approach very much without major problems. He has a magic boken almost! I was amazed. Let's say the best of you have it from f1.8 to 3.5 for my personal tastes. If you lose something you notice it in street photos. So I definitely recommend it to all the apsc holders who want to try out the portraits as they will not find a better lens even at a price 3 times as much. For those who own the real 50 is a whole thing to use in those days where lightness is of primary importance. If the photographic style likes the half-bust portraits then it is the lens it is for you. Ps the original hood is well done and I think it is very useful to reduce the inevitable flareBut it suffers, but nothing conditioning. sent on June 24, 2017 |
![]() | Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM Pros: Sharpness, Construction, Standard Weight, Stabilization, Bokeh Cons: For my humble opinion no one unless the lack of tropicalization for the rest is a L series Opinion: When love is said at first glance. I came from 24-105L one of the best canon zoom ever. But I missed something, that moving, that creativity that only a fixed one can give you. At that point the amletic doubt of many .. what to choose? I realized that I used a lot of 24-40 focal lengths but when you have a zoom like 24-105L it's not so simple because laziness can bump you over instead of half-step. Reading the various reviews on the 24 did not convince me as well I found it more than enough as wide-angle on a FF and I said that with 28 or 35 and two steps back I would have got the same result, with two steps forward I got to 50 so I chose 35 and not the bank. 40 because f2.0 gave me much more creativity than 2.8 which offered the 40 but it weighed much less. No choice was more right. You will love it. It's a L series all over and for everything except tropicalization. I also love it in the bokeh. What to say is the focal point for me as it ranges from landscaped street pictures to full-length portraits and meBisexual, the latter I adore because they contextualize the photo. I would never go back. sent on June 24, 2017 |
