![]() | Panasonic S9 Pros: color fidelity, photo quality, video quality (many settings), MAF speed, articulated display and quality (visibility), beautiful LUT function (innovation, convenient management via App), immediate content sharing, lots of technology in a small camera body, low weight. Cons: it is not tropicalized, they could have added a third ring (even if using it is not essential), probably missing a viewfinder (but for its purpose it is not a con at all). Opinion: had the opportunity to test it for a few days. Buy without the slightest doubt! for me the S9 is far ahead of many street cameras and for a thousand other photo and video needs (very high level). Affordable price for what it offers. a perfect concentrate of the most modern technology. I think it's absurd how people misjudge this powerful mirrorless without having bought it or perhaps never tried it. It is trivial to expect from this camera, at this budget, many more rings and viewfinder. the S9 was born for a very specific purpose. the LUT function and the new dedicated app are amazing. ok, they could have inserted an extra dial, but otherwise I don't share these criticisms just for the sake of attacking. I think that having a Lumix S5II with the S9 combined is one of the best choices. the S9 is nothing more than the S5II with a reduced shape, without sacrificing so much technology. With a small budget you can have a lot of quality and too much technology. if they had inserted many more controls, additional dial, viewfinder, etc. certainly the price would have reached 3000 euros (Sony RX1R II style, but with interchangeable lenses). at this price it is a deliberately different machine from the crowd, suitable for those who want to have the Pro points listed in a small (light) camera body. Lumix provides everyone with a small and modern Full Frame mirrorless camera with crazy photo and video quality, without making a large investment. A good choice! Very nice to be able to choose between 4 colors of the camera body. overall score 8 (with a third ring it would have deserved 9). soon they will offer the mark II with more options and obviously at a higher price (there will then be those who will complain about the price increase). The professional who has special needs will choose something else, investing much higher amounts. We don't all have the same needs or the same budget to invest! sent on August 26, 2024 |
![]() | Fujifilm X-PRO3 Pros: aesthetics, IQ, components, grip, philosophy. Cons: some points that I have already bypassed (nothing relevant). Opinion: Technically, everything has already been written (the web is greedy for info). I focus on the aesthetics and philosophy of the machine, which I think are wonderful! The concept of the hidden display stimulates you to compose in the head before the camera (which I also do with classic cameras). The "squat", well-armored aesthetics, the handle and the assemblies make this machine an object of disarming wonder! I feel great in everything. I use it exclusively with very bright F1.2 and F1.4 fixed lenses, even a little larger than the latest F2 lenses, the grip and weight balance is spot on. I think that doing street (and not only) with such a car increases the pleasure. I'm hoping for a future X-Pro4 only if it's conceptually identical, although I don't feel the slightest need for built-in AI or faster MAF. the operation of the X-Pro3 is enough and advances, since I would not use it neither for birdlife nor for extremely sporty/fast photos. This camera was not made for this type of photography. Lately we have been chasing more and more extreme, exaggerated technologies, almost wanting computers and automations more than a real camera. I think the X-Pro3 is already extremely advanced and modern. personal opinion. thank you Fujifilm! sent on June 28, 2024 |
![]() | Sony RX1R II Pros: sensor, photographic quality, lens, materials, tilting display (in part), AF speed, pop-up viewfinder, compactness, connections. Cons: Battery life, lack of touch-screen, lack of flash, handle (for those with big hands), price. Opinion: The Sony RX1R II is undoubtedly a machine of an undisputed quality. A little gem. The quality of the sensor is frightening! I had a A7R II and already knew the goodness and dynamics of this amazing sensor. Also the F2 lens, very bright, is apt, stupendous, sharp at the right point, with a nice macro function and a fuzzy creamy, of an incredible beauty to be a 35mm. As focal length there are those who prefer the 28mm, I prefer the 35mm and I find myself more than good. The slight distortion is easily correctable via software (just a click and everything is sorted at the right point). The quality of the materials is excellent. It is immediately noticeable to the touch. It could not be otherwise for a machine of this value. A real gem is the excellent pop-up viewfinder. Sony managed to make it stand, despite the small size of the machine. That way, unfortunately, the little pop-up flash disappeared. Frankly, between the two options I definitely prefer the viewfinder. I had the first version of the RX1 and I had purchased, apart from, the viewfinder to be inserted on the Flash shoe, but it was a bit ' too cumbersome and the car lost the compactness and the convenience of putting it in the pocket of a vest (for example). High definition display, clear, well-readable, pity that it is not entirely overhead (eg, as a Canon 6d Mark II), but it is a typical feature of Sony, which has accustomed us to display that only move down and to the other. The touch-screen is missing, very convenient for the street. With such a high price Sony could have plugged it. The AF speed is amazing, it's as good as the A7R II I've had. Fast, it hooks the subject very well, it is a face and very reliable eye tracking function. Finally, because with the first version and with the next R was not really the best. Now, finally, you have an ideal AF for many jobs. It is not as fast as that of the A7 III that I have, but the latter is a newer model and has a really excellent system of MAF, similar to that of the A9. Amazing! The handle of the small RX1R II is not exactly the maximum and is likely to slip easily from the hands, just because the machine is very small, but those who choose this little monster does it especially to match compactness and high photographic quality and is Conscious from the outset that the dimensions of the machine body are very contained. To those who have big hands I recommend an additional grip, able to make the grip much more enjoyable. The battery life remains limited, like all mirrorless a few years ago. Tiny Battery. Working on it, I have 5 spare and I have no problems. Being small, they load fast. Given the size of the machine, I do not think that Sony for later models can insert larger batteries (such as the A9, A7R III, A7 III), maybe it will and find a way to position the battery in a slightly larger grip. Wonder! The price I think is very high, even if the machine is worth so much, for the characteristics and for the almost uniqueness (see Leica, for example) of its kind. A compact with an amazing full-frame sensor and a Zeiss bright lens that's great. Machine with a crazy technology, Wi-Fi and NFC connections, etc. We know they are things that big brands make us pay, and not a little! sent on December 23, 2018 |
![]() | Ricoh GR II Pros: compactness, portability, light, image quality (either JPG or RAW), high ISO estate, coupled sensor and lens, quick menu, display quality, excellent materials, wifi, retractable flash, so many effects, the b / n is fabulous . Cons: no small viewfinder, Sony RX type IV, for the rest fully meets my needs. Opinion: it is all presented in stunning Pro.rnmacchina. in a body so small there is all the necessary technology and lots and lots of quality immagini.rnamo Fuji, but a matter of size I preferred this small and beautiful GR II to Fuji X100S. the photo quality (high) is similar, but the GR is the true pocket and really fits in your pocket. It is a machine that stands out and remains very discreet, very good thing when you want to photograph without much noticed. It looks almost like a toy. once contested and set ad hoc, you'll immediately notice the potential, of the materials carefully (good) and above all put the command at the right point. lightweight, fast, able to churn out amazing photos. is the strepitosa.rnla leave almost always coupled optical / sensor f2.8 and is very sharp, even to bordi.rni JPG are great, strange thing is that the RAW often are still better than the JPG and working benissimo.rnmacchina ( right) recommended. it is a pleasure! rnnonIt is the ideal machine for those with big hands. the car is really small (like a compact from a few Euros), but the compromise of those who want the maximum compactness, without sacrificing quality. behold, the GR II is the perfect machine to take with itself! sent on November 12, 2016 |
![]() | Sony NEX-6 Pros: Quality images, colors, dynamics, JPG excellent, 16 megapixels (the right to an APS-C), ISO management, optics kit better than the competition, ergonomics, weight, materials of construction, optical viewfinder High Definition (comfortable), pop-up flash, a double ring, Wi-Fi, tilting display (although it limits rotation), Sony service that can be used with any type of optical (via adapter rings) Cons: Park optics not bad, although it should enrich it more, no touch screen, no GPS (non-essential) menu, not just immediate, battery life (as with all mirrorless), no charger classic, fully rotating display, no caps (body machine and the back of the lens) if purchased with lens kit (this already installed, so it has the plugs supplied). Opinion: Purchased after several tests. This product was absolutely remarkable. The greatest gifts I have listed in the "pro". RnI 16 megapixels are perfect for a sensor of this kind. The files have a perfect quality. Beautiful colors, rich, alive, especially if you choose the parameter Vivid (from settings menu). The raw files (such as RAW format) are well workable, quietly with the latest versions of the same Lightroom.rnParagonando photos made with the entry-level SLR, often more costly, the files of the NEX-6 I like the most, are the richest detail, better defined, more contrast and rich beautiful colors (real). The combination of sensor and processor works perfectly! RnNotevole is also the quality of the photos you can get with the optics kit, better than many other lenses kit concorrenza.rnPoi is adaptable to any kind of optics, thanks to the many rings adattatori.rnAlcuni minus points are listed in the "against", however these accettabili.rnAd today you can not buy it at a price absolutely inteesting, given the release of the new A6000 (which I got to use it for about 2 months). The latter (A6000) have added more buttons for customization, a new menu, better, more classic (like Canon), have improved slightly the grip (already good on the NEX-6), a lightning-fast AF, fast, (the the NEX-6 is good, but that of the A6000 is a rocket), NFC connection (not required), new processor and a new sensor, led to 24 megapixels, too (in my opinion) for a sensor of this size, it is appreciated with a maximum optical quality, such as the extraordinary Zeiss, otherwise, if you use the kit lenses, I believe that with the NEX-6 (16 megapixel) there is some slight detail in più.rnSe not want to spend so much and get pictures beautiful, the NEX-6 is a perfect product, modern and portable, with the optical pancake 16-50 is almost pocket (type in the pocket of a jacket or comfortably in a classic kangaroo). sent on July 12, 2014 |
