![]() | Nikon Df Pros: vintage body, sensor inherited from the D4s, file cleaning, high ISO resistance, infinite battery life, possibility of mounting all Nikon lenses with F bayone (therefore from the 50s) with the exception of the Z, lack of video mode Cons: AF inherited from the d610, (but it depends on what kind of photography you practice), lack of tilting dislay... not having it. Opinion: a machine that at its release, sparked several criticisms ... the DF as far as I'm concerned is the perfect machine for the use I have to make of it... Very light body, which combined with fixed and light optics, is beautiful to take for a walk and the neck is not affected. Cleanliness and details of the Raw files I dare say incredible, thanks to the 16.3 megapixel CMOS sensor inherited from the D4s. Controlling everything from the ring nut at the beginning was a bit difficult, then as the days went by it all became automatic. I love the fact that it is a machine, which was conceived only and solely for reasoned and thoughtful, slow photography... For those who complained about the lack of the video sector, they knew very well before leaving us money, what they were going to buy. the DF coupled with the Af-s 24mm f/1.4 G ED (N) returns files of impressive beauty. That said, I own two camera bodies (one for each color), the only flaws I find are in the autofocus a little uncertain (not recommended for sports and birdlife) inherited from the D610 and technologically I only feel the lack of a tilting display (here it is fixed). rating 9.5.. perfection doesn't exist, but here we get very close (as I see it) sent on April 24, 2025 |
![]() | Nikon D7500 Pros: ISO hold at night, touch screen, dynamic range, rather light Raw files, partially tropicalized Cons: Snapdridge that comes and goes, like love. Opinion: Eeh what can I say.. I had the Nikon D7500 for about 8 years, I was one of the first to get it in July 2017, to replace a D7200 (great apsc at the time) that went to me amollo, in the Portuguese Sea. I've never had a problem with this DSLR, apart from the bad experience with Snapbridge. What made (and does) this camera is the ISO tightness, combined with the old 14-24 mm f2.8 I pulled out "discrete files". Taking it new now would perhaps make little sense, if it were found on 650 euros new, then (for me) for those who do not want to switch to ML and want a no-FF all-rounder reflex, it falls very well. For me it remains the Ferrari of Nikon's Apsc, apart from the D500, of which it shares (if I'm not mistaken) the sensor. sent on April 07, 2025 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S 20mm f/1.8 G ED Pros: Versatility, sharpness, colors, possibility of mounting screw filters (77mm), Cons: plastic construction material and lens hood (perhaps only in my model) that tends to lock to extract it. Opinion: There is little to say about such a lens, I think it is a must have that one must always have in hand, if we talk about wide-angle for reflex. I'm using it profitably, coupled with the Nikon Df. it was a shame not to have had it before, I would have liked to put it in the private combined with my old Nikon D7500. I really appreciate the versatility and sharpness, as well as the fact that mounted on Df it is like not having it. A hug. sent on March 31, 2025 |
