![]() | TTartisan APS-C 10mm f/2 Pros: Very good overall contrast, very good sharpness in the center and very good at the edges from f4 to f9.5. Excellent value for money, sturdy construction, beautiful dials, excellent equipment: lens hood, filter holder. Cons: modest sharpness at the edges at f2 and f2.8, slightly high weight, lack of contacts and therefore of communication with the camera. Opinion: Photographer for pleasure for many years, I used the Flektogon 20mm f2.8 of Zeiss Jena ex DDR on Pentax and the 21mm Zuiko f3.5 on OM-1n both film and I must say that, this TTartisan, does not look bad with either lens, just aperture at least at f4. The lack of autofocus is not noticeable, given the great depth of focus. Rather I would have liked the communication with the camera. I use it on G9 and OM E-10 IV micro 4/3, so the equivalent focal length is precisely 20mm. I would also have liked it to be a little lighter but in conclusion, given the ridiculous price it is absolutely advisable. I uploaded on my Miscellanea gallery, a comparison (which does not want to have a scientific character) between 2 wide-angle lenses: the Zuiko 21mm f3.5 and the Ttartisan 10mm f2. The zuiko was mounted on Sony A7 while the 10mm Ttartisan on Panasonic G9. This is to have more or less the same angle of view. I leave the conclusions to the reader but I would like to remind you that the Zuiko 21mm f3.5 cost in 1975 a good £200,000 (source "Almanacco Fotografare estate 1975") which is equivalent to today's €1,263 (source "rivaluta.istat.it") sent on April 06, 2024 |
![]() | Panasonic G100 Pros: Compactness, lightness, image quality, viewfinder and monitor. Cons: stabilization, mechanical shutter. Opinion: Meanwhile, my opinion concerns the photographic part as I am not interested in videos. I was looking for a second body of quality but light and I came across this g100 that I must say left me speechless for how small and light it is but above all for the quality of the images and the variety of functions available. The only note concerns the stabilization that is only digital and only for video. For photos you have to rely on lens stabilization (when there is). Another note concerns the mechanical shutter that reaches only 1/500 of a second and 1/50 for the flash sync, handycap partly exceeded by the electronic shutter that reaches 1/16000. The slow synchro however prevents you from using the flash as a fill in light. Perhaps it is the price to pay for having such a small and light body (412 gr with the zoom 12-32). Taken at just under € 400 at Km.0 I can only give a nice 10. sent on October 23, 2022 |
![]() | Panasonic Lumix G Vario 35-100mm f/4.0-5.6 ASPH OIS Pros: Very sharp, compact, featherweight, stabilized, fast and accurate AF, unbeatable quality/price. Cons: Not very bright (and I also wanted to see). Opinion: I'm not a lover of zooms: the cheap ones have disappointing performance and the expensive ones... they are expensive, big and heavy. This zoom really surprised me: very sharp at all focal lengths from center to edge. Of course the brightness is what it is but, thanks to the stabilization, during the day you can take 90% of the photos. Combined with 12-32 you have a whole kit with just over 200gr. of weight and take home very sharp photos with the right contrast and with very neutral colors. If you want, there is no need for PP. ![]() | Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS Pros: very light, very sharp, excursion 24-64 eq., from closed non-existent encumbrance, stabilized, price (from used) Cons: feeling that it is gracile, plastic bayonet, price (from new) Opinion: A zoom of 24-64 eq. ff, stabilized, with a very good sharpness in just 70gr. it looks like science fiction. Paid used just 80€, simply has no opponents. The only real flaw is this feeling that it has to break at any moment. As long as it lasts I don't look for anything else. At full price from new I would never have bought it. From an empirical test, I compared this zoom with two fixed lenses: zuiko 21 f3.5 and zuiko 28 f3.5 on sony a7II. Analyzing the results, seen both on monitors and on 65" 4K TVs, I noticed that the quality was almost indistinguishable. In my opinion, the two fixed but very little win just by looking at the details at 100%. On the TV instead tie. sent on September 26, 2022 |
![]() | Olympus OM-D E-M10 IV Pros: MFT sensor of the latest generation, great image quality, excellent stabilization, great variety of settings and customizations, silent shutter, built-in flash, olympus aesthetics, lightness, exceptional quality / price ratio. Cons: Not tropicalized (but there are other models for this). Opinion: Photographer since 1974, I had a Zenit-B weighed 1 Kg. but it was a giant with feet of clay. This E-M10 IV is a feather (power of polycarbonate) but lightness is not synonymous with fragility. I made comparisons with photos taken with the Sony A7 II with 28-70 and this E-M10 IV with 12-32 Panasonic. Without going into detail: he wins the E-M10 with 12-32 on all fronts. I'm not interested in photographing at more than 1600 ISO nor am I interested in the infamous Bokeh. I am seriously considering abandoning the FF. sent on August 20, 2022 |
