![]() | Nikon Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Pros: practicality, easy handling, versatility Cons: The usual Nikon lens hood... Instantly exchanged for a canvas one with strap purchased on Amazon Opinion: Returned a few days ago from a safari in South Africa... I was very pleased with this Zummone which satisfied me in pretty much everything. The only flaw is that it focuses a bit far away ... but it's still a tele 5.6... and the usual lens hood that doesn't stay still (Nikon's atavistic evil) ... For the rest I would say quite sharp, good performance (mounted on Z9) and practical from narrow close-ups to distant subjects at 600mm. Obviously, it should be understood as an object that is not entirely professional ... the 400 and 600 are something else and the bokeh will obviously never be the same... But it is true that it costs a lot, much less and you have an object that you carry very well in your backpack or even over your shoulder. I would also recommend it sent on May 06, 2024 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S 500mm f/4 E FL ED VR Pros: Fast and quiet Autofocus, balance, sharpness Cons: Price, although reduced weight is always remarkable for certain treks Opinion: Recently returned from the bayerischen where I tested it to the maximum, I received very sharp photos (I can see the droplets on the hairs of wolves, bears, lynx, etc.) and detailed; The autofocus is a missile and compared to the old tele is really "short", and very quiet (if active the VR you hear only the noise of the lenses that are settling). A lens for the naturalistic... It gives a good blur even to more closed diaphragms and has a more than discreet rendering at full aperture. I haven't tried it with duplicators, so I can't give an opinion about it. The weight has been considerably reduced, but on the climbs (my fault because I'm not a great walker and I'm overweight) was made to feel (at the bottom is still a 500 mm!) and maybe for a next hike I'll prefer the 200-500 but it's two really different lenses (Although the zoommone is excellent in my opinion). For photos of stakeout or huts is ideal and as the friend says Nel (who had strictly advised me, and was right!) allows you, every now and then, to be able to take the flight freehand, then put it back in the tripod. I doubt that you can hold it in your hand for a full day.... The machine with which I tested it is a D500 other gem for this type of photography. Rated 10 sent on March 07, 2019 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6 E ED VR Pros: Autofocus, sharpness, manageability, VR, excellent quality / price ratio Cons: Hood, NOT 'to tropical housing Opinion: Got to have something handy for trips to punt and / or paths with "photos on the fly" I was surprised by the yield piacevolissimevolmento and colors that this lens offers (perhaps a little too much saturation but nothing that can not be corrected in post). It handles very well if you are used to super telephoto :-D, one thing: the zoom is not really practical, for now I must set before ... I do not know if I should get used to, or is not really thought out the best (but I challenge anyone to make us a zooming shooting). For the rest of the 'it seemed very fast autofocus (mounted on D750) followed well harriers hunting as well as small shorebirds in flight, the VR has helped me and not a little on the small boat rocking and actually makes you "save" some stop (then course for in-flight photos of the fastest times we want the same :-D) ... suffers a little bit of flare in backlit, but it's still a zoom and just be a little careful .... sure the lens hood is not the maximum ... potevano make a nice screw optional professional lens hood to those who wanted it, would be a nice icing on the cake, however, for the price ... you can not have everything from ... Another flaw, for people like me (and I think many they will buy this lens), which will bring the lens from dust, splashes and bad weather .... to be careful because it is not weather sealed; I hope that in a camouflage cover improves the situation neoprene ... (so there 's I put the same: -D). So: recommended for those who want a lens to handle by hand to carry around easily without breaking the rump (mine is put this lily) ... sure the paintings to 2.8 or 200-400 are better ... but they are also very more weights and much more expensive ... sent on May 17, 2016 |
