canon_1dxCanon 1DX

Pros: Construction, AF module, shutter speed and use, tropicalization, grip, ease of use, resistance to high iso, very beautiful jpeg, battery life

Cons: No Wifi

Opinion: Fabulous work machine, right amount of pixels, very fast and manages to churn out beautiful jpegs. Passed from 1d4 to 1dx, the improvements are many and are felt, especially on the af side and iso management. I use it for sportswomen together with the 400 2.8 and another together with the 70-200 2.8, both for outdoor and indoor sports (even in very dark halls it behaves very well, if you look at my galleries you will find photos of handball at 12,800/16,000 iso still excellent and usable). For the price it costs, it is a best buy for sports photography, obviously the 1dxii and 1dxiii have even more interesting features but cost much more (at the time of my intersection, its price in the used is about 1500 euros in good condition). It allowed me to take home a lot of beautiful shots, even directly in the room, which working for newspapers is a godsend, of course you have to know how to use it ... but after setting it well according to your needs it works very well (it has a very large and rich af menu and customization).

canon_400_f2-8isCanon EF 400mm f/2.8 L IS USM

Pros: BOKEH, sharpness, speed, construction

Cons: weight, dimensions, handling

Opinion: The 400 2.8 is a spectacular lens that every sports photographer must have in his kit... if well used it offers really sharp images and with a fabulous detachment of the planes. This optics is lucky enough to find it used at a much more affordable price than the second and third series, obviously the weight is not from its ... freehand for more than 20 minutes it is impossible to manage it and having it together for a whole day / several days in a row is tiring (and I am quite performing physical being an athlete), but with a modopod you can improve the situation, obviously it is less manageable but on the other hand it allows you to save on medical care caused by the weight ;) jokes aside, it is a really beautiful optics, I use it for outdoor sports and allows me to get excellent results (even customers are happy) Having the budegt I would immediately go to series iii which has a really ridiculous weight (I have seen colleagues use it freehand all day and have hung it on our shoulder as if it were nothing ...)

canon_70-200_f4Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM

Pros: Cost, weight, size, blurry, fixed opening, L series construction

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: L series lens that can be found used at a ridiculous price. He has a low weight of 700g which compared to his older brother f2.8 or f4 Is is derisory, so the collar for the easel is useless. You can have it hanging around your neck with an aps-c body all day long and you don't break your back. Lens that together with aps-c body makes it an excellent pairing for outdoor sports photography (I used it on 80d for a long time and I have always found myself well). I also used it for portraits, at 200mm it has a great blurry and a great detachment of the floors. In my "athletic" gallery most of the photos were taken with this lens. Well made construction, metal body and beautiful fluid and "grippate" rings. I'm only selling it for 70-200 2.8 because for me the weight is irrelevant and at 2.8 the detachment of the plans is even more marked. In conclusion, if you are looking for a light medium zoom tele zoom this lens is perfect for you!

canon_80dCanon 80D

Pros: Battery, burst, autofocus, semi-tropicalized body, crop factor 1.6x, dynamic range, 24mpx

Cons: Nobody

Opinion: I was looking for a first camera to photograph mainly sports and I had the opportunity to find one used at a good price. It has a battery that really lasts a lot, I use it for athletics competitions and I always take more than 1000 shots and I go home with 1/2 more notches of battery. The burst is very fast (7fps) not bad for a car on this budget. I used this car even in the rain and it never gave me any problems. The crop factor 1.6x helped me a lot because my 70-200 2.8 becomes a 112-320 f2.8, which makes it pretty much the equivalent of a 120-300 f2.8 on FF with a lower mooolto price. Very good dynamic range, allowed me to shoot with a 70-200 f4 an evening athletics event without problems, the noise was noticeable very little, I press that I never used it indoor with f4 or more closed designed. I have not found any cons so far, many complain about the lack of the double slot, but in my opinion just add a good fast and capacious SD card. Same thing for the lack of 4k, if you want to make videos buy a camera... anyway the videos come the same very well. The 24mpx help a lot when it comes to crop! which with 1div and 7dii machines you can do less... I recommend it to those who want a body for birdlife/sport that does not cost a damn (it costs less than 7dii, 1div and 90d)

canon_efs24stmCanon EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM

Pros: Size, weight, aperture, focal

Cons: vignette a little bit

Opinion: Beautiful lens that is also found in the used with super low prices (mine I paid him 100 euros). The most beautiful thing about this lens is the compactness, I mount it on 80d and it almost feels like I have mounted on it only the cap, not from in the eye and I always put it in my photo backpack, it is an equivalent 38mm, so you can do a little bit of everything. I'll probably move on to FF (1dx) soon and then change it to his older brother (the 40mm pancake). Only flaw: vignette and not very little, but just close at f4.0 to solve the problem. I recommend it, little expense and optics not bad!
