![]() | Sigma 100-400mm f/5-6.3 DG OS HSM C Pros: Sharpness, reasonable weight, excellent lens for apsc, of course the price, stabilization ok Cons: AF that I consider just enough, tropicalization, sharpening at 400mm Opinion: After using 70-300 and other canvases I decided to take this 100-400 to use it with my d7500, good sharpness, although at 400mm I do not find it so satisfying. I find the weight more than good, especially after trying more demanding canvases such as the two 150-600 Tamron G1 and G2. Stabilization does its job, but it's nothing extraordinary. Coupled with the d7500 I found it a good lens, AF side I must say I am quite satisfied. Moving on to the Nikon z50 and adapting it things have not improved, indeed, the AF and even worsened despite the lens had also been updated with the dock. It probably needed a fine adjustment via dock, but I did first to sell it and switch to the Tamron mentioned above. sent on December 18, 2021 |
![]() | Tamron 70-210mm f/4 Di VC USD Pros: Sharpness, weight, price, blurry, color rendering Cons: Absolutely nothing Opinion: Bought for street and motocross races, what to say, it excels. I tested it on 5d iv and on eos R, the AF is fast and hardly loses the subject. The blurry and very pleasant, the same applies to the sharpness that is excellent in the center, obviously at the edges we have a little loss, but nothing dramatic, it is still excellent. The construction quality I find average, more than good but nothing exciting. Good also the tropicalization that I have put to the test several times. It is around 400 euros new with official tamron guarantee, at this price if you are looking for a 70-200 f4 this is the right choice. sent on December 08, 2021 |
![]() | Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM II Pros: Tropicalization, stabilization, weight, constant f4, AF Cons: Nothing Opinion: Purchased as a handyman so as not to have a lot of different lenses, I liked it right away. Good construction, right weight, sharpness much more than satisfactory. The stabilization amazed me, coupled with my 5d iv allowed me to shoot freehand. It must be specified that I resold it, I switched to the Tokina 50mm 1.4 opera (guys who lens) and to the Tamron 70-210 f4. If f4 constant suits you I do not see defects in this lens, perhaps the price from new, but on the used is also at 700, a figure for me more than reasonable. sent on December 05, 2021 |
![]() | Tokina Opera 50mm f/1.4 FF Pros: Sharpness, bokeh, AF speed, tropicalized, construction, MF bezel Cons: Maybe the weight, but there is a full view of the construction quality Opinion: I bought this lens about three months ago and I'm trying it on my 5d IV, what can I say, it works divinely. AF in photos much more than satisfactory, I also used it to take pictures at an e-bike race on the trackside and the Af turned out to be extremely valid. Sharpness and blurred are noteworthy, as well as the construction quality, not a little gem, on the hood has a removable slit that allows us to move a variable nd filter without detaching the hood. On the other hand there is perhaps only the weight, of almost a kilo, but for the quality of image and for the quality of construction I could not have less; It won me over on almost every front, on the videos I still have to test it well. What to say except that I recommend it with flying colors, it is often found new from Amazon at 680, at this unmissable price. Also watch out for the whd (used section of Amazon) which sometimes drops a lot. GRINDING On the eos R with adapter also video side behaves divinely. sent on October 20, 2021 |
