sigma_50_f1-4Sigma 50mm f/1.4 EX DG HSM

Pros: Sharpness, bokeh, color, contrast, made plastic, quality / price among the must-have.

Cons: very few and insignificant. The af may be migliore.rnTi makes you wish the 50L 1.2.

Opinion: And 'perspective that I bought 2 years ago and sold because the autofocus (inaccurate at different distances and with slight front focus) was not of sufficient utility on 5d old I owned and I used only in MF. After trying other 50mm, including 50L, I decided to buy it back for use on 5dmii ... The music has changed, the lens is always sharp from f1.4 to f16, with an exceptional bokeh and colors as excellent on 5d old. The af however, is greatly improved, now I can also hook up with laterali.rnDa immediately amazed me for the bokeh (comparable to 50L 1.2) and for the sharpness at any aperture, 2.8 already saturated sensor 5dmii. The love for the surrender plastic that gives the portraits and color balanced, but slightly yellowish shades average .... but this helps a lot gradations. rnDistorsione negligible and CrazyTalk at f1.4 of 1.7eV to extremes that fades very smoothly towards the center (I would have preferred it to be less, as the 50L) .rnQualità / unbeatable price, I pensator get closer to the new sigma 50Art which improves the defects and enhances the quality, but at that price + another sacrifice to reach the Canon 50L 1.2 which is the absolute yardstick. Dreaming of the Canon, I enjoy the Sigma 50 / 1.4, not ART ... of course! VOTE 9

tamron_28-75_f2-8Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di LD

Pros: value / prezzo.rnNitido, Af precise, bright, AC and PF contained.

Cons: colors, Af slow and noisy, vignetting at RT.

Opinion: I have used this lens on a Canon 5D old and has been a faithful companion for a year, using it only for shooting in b / w: color rendition I've never digested and I sold it for this motivo.rnHa a system autofocus very slow and noisy, but accurate. In poor lighting makes it hard to connect with, better to use the maf manual. With the right light gives great shots. Pleasing bokeh. Sharp in the center (also in f2, 8), but the best of it expresses f4, f5, 6 reaching good results at the edges and perfect in the middle. AC and PF contained, cartoon TA but often it's nice :) rnLo advice to those who have a tight budget and in need of versatility and brightness ... Quality / price unbeatable. VOTE 8.

helios_44m4_58f2Zenit Helios MC 44M-4 58mm f/2.0

Pros: Optical quality. Small and easy to handle. Absent distortion. Bokeh. Price

Cons: Mechanical quality (the ring maf is jerky)

Opinion: Fantastic view from the point of view of optical flaw on the mechanical side. The focus ring is a little smoother and fuocheggiare often becomes difficult ... why not see it fit to report. For the portrait posing is fabulous: the optical performance is fantastic already at f2, great colors properly saturated (but to slightly magenta) and slight vignetting and distortion absent. Bokeh fabulous! RNE 'perspective that made me sell the Sigma 50/1.4 (too prissy and a little magic) to that great when I found it "cumbersome" (not only for its size) from what I have purchased and adapted the 'helios 44m4 on my 5dmii! RNLA recommend it to everyone. It gives great satisfaction to me .... that is a full 9!

samyang_14Samyang 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC Aspherical

Pros: Manual Focus, very sharp (even at room temperature), bright, no AC, resistant to flare and excellent color. Sturdy as a rock! Value / price unbeatable.

Cons: you can not mount filters, distortion.

Opinion: It 'a great lens, economical for its optical qualities. It 's really very clear already at f2.8 and this is an important factor for those who take pictures at night or in dark environments ... TA to the vignetting is not an oversimplification to f4 f5 and above, 6 becomes a blade, zero AC and flare. It is a manual focus lens and I think this thing a PRO, especially for people like me who often uses the hyperfocal ;) (I made marks on the barrel to remember all the hyperfocal distance for any f, really useful). Difficult to judge the bokeh of this lens ... to 14mm f2.8 exist? yes, only if you closeup .. and you will see a blur pleasant and delicate. The cons of this lens are the distortion (easily limitable in pp) and the impossibility to mount filters of any kind: the front lens is very large, and also projecting the optic has the built-in hood, fixed. I own this lens about 15 months and I think I keep it with me for long! It 's my favorite optical tied with Samyang 35mm f1.4 brother, and think that the Canon equivalent cost 7 times a Samyang 14mm and 3 times a Samyang 35mm f1.4 ... I hope that these are indeed lower than the equivalent Samyang canon (I do not seem, except for f), otherwise ... Samyang life! Superconsigliata, especially for sensors FF!

tamron_70-300vcTamron SP 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD

Pros: Fast AF, Full Time MF, effective stabilizer, sharp even wide open from 70 to 300m, high-contrast images, excellent color, no AC, quality / price!

Cons: had been a constant f4 would be the best ... rnleggera vignetting at TA FF, but on APS-c no black border! rn

Opinion: abandoned prejudices on optical non-Canon / Nikon or other ... this lens, in my opinion, is fantastic! rnL'ho purchased to replace the canon 70-200mm f4 L non-stabilized, in order to take advantage of those 300mm and stabilizer that I needed and I do not regret, indeed, I am thrilled! RNLA :) I'm using a 500D and a 5D old, with excellent results; RNA these focal lengths, the stabilizer is important and this is very efficient Tamron VC: I shot with the 5D at 300mm f5, 6 to getting 1/30s excellent picture, with a slight vignettattura that of Aps-c is not visible! rnL'Af is very fast, as much as a USM canon, quiet and precise, in a word: efficiente.rnNitido to 70mm to 300mm as even at full aperture with a very nice contrast and excellent color ... Well controlled AC! RnChe mean, if this point would cost twice as much, I would have praised and purchased anyway, but pay only 350 € is really a pleasure!! My vote is a full 9! highly recommended! ; A
