![]() | Fujifilm XF 23mm f/1.4 R LM WR Pros: sharpness, no distortion, bokeh, build quality, handling, autofocus Cons: nothing Opinion: I use the lens in combination with the XT-3. I especially like the handling of this combination, because there is a very good balance between the body and the lens. The build quality is impeccable. The autofocus is fast, accurate and quiet. Image quality: excellent sharpness, beautiful colors and a nice soft bokeh. The performance in backlit situations or in situations with high contrast is very good in my opinion. Thanks to this lens, I started to love shooting with a single lens - a 35mm equivalent. I am very happy with my equipment, but I like this optic better. sent on January 25, 2025 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 50mm f/2 R WR Pros: Sharpness, Distortion-free, Bokeh, build quality, Handling, Autofocus Cons: Maybe lack of an image stabilization? Opinion: This lens was the entry into the world of Fujifilm's prime lenses for me. I am very happy with the choice, because I find the combination with the X-T3 very handy. In my opinion, the quality of the images is wonderful: excellent sharpness with beautiful bokeh (both for portraits and landscapes), beautiful colors and no distortion. Very fast and accurate autofocus. Thanks to the lightness, I don't think the lack of image stabilization is a major disadvantage. In my face it is more important to have a very performing optic that is also pocket-sized in combination with a small body. sent on February 04, 2024 |
![]() | Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN C Pros: Image quality, sharpness, brightness, build quality Cons: lack of stabilizer? Opinion: I've always loved the 18-35 1.8 for Nikon SLR. At the time, I was glad to see this perspective for Fuji. I use it with an X-T3, where the lack of stabilizer is certainly a disadvantage. The quality of the photos, even in backlit situations, is perfect to my face. Manageability on the X-T3: excellent balance between body and optics, perhaps on the XE series I would prefer a lens with a smaller diameter. Summing up I give a 10, and now I have a big problem: I always have to choose between Sigma and Fuji 10-24 4.0 - I like both a lot! sent on November 27, 2022 |
![]() | Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM Pros: image quality, e.g. sharpness. Bokeh, AF, stabilizer, build quality. Cons: nothing, despite the weight the lens is manageable Opinion: we use lens for Nikon APSC (D-7200 and D-5500) for landscapes and portraits. We are very happy with the quality of the image and the speed of the lens. This also applies to maximum openness. We believe that the weight balance between body and optics is very good (better than the combination with Nikkor 55-300), especially in combination with the D-7200. We have never observed problems with the autofocus or stabilizer. sent on March 05, 2022 |
