canon_rf45_f1-2 Canon RF 45mm f/1.2 STM

Pros: weight, balance, haptics, f1.2, pricing, colour, sharpness, stearing-ring

Cons: No lens hood, AF is not fast - but "ok", not perfectly quiet, no stabilisation, for Canon-User cheap - but 500 € are 500 €!

Opinion: It is not an "L". You feel it, you hear it, you see it by using. But the pictures are extremely good. It makes SO MUCH fun to use it, because the weight and balance are perfect! My RF50mm f1.2L is better and sharper and and and... but it is NO FUN to use it, because of the weight. I love both - the 45mm and the 50mm. When it's an important day (marriage etc.), i will take the 50mm f1.2L - because it's the best you can use. But in daily using and on tours the RF45mm f1.2 is the choice! BUT: 500 € are not less money. For an Canon (closed-)System-User yes - but being honest: not really.

canon_r6_iii Canon EOS R6 Mark III

Pros: Haptics, ergonomics, speed, AF, range of functions and features, quality, neutrality in skin tones, colours, CFexpress, volume in using, pre-recording, a jack-of-all-trades, in short: almost perfect!

Cons: A new, more powerful battery is needed for full functionality (compared to R5, R6, R6 II ...), the display frame could perhaps be a little bit more thinner (and so the display bigger), the viewfinder is nice – but the bigger one of the R5 MKII would be nicer, so many features = soon you'll need a driver's license to understand all the settings, IN SHORT: NOTHING IS WRONG! As I said: almost perfect!

Opinion: An (almost!) perfect camera! So close to the Canon R5 Mark II... or a way better?! Difficult to say. By using videos i think the R6 is the better choice. There are more functions you need. These functions are all on top level. The skin tones are perfect, the speed is fast, the AF got it perfect, the pre-Recording is so great! The whole package makes the camera so (almost!) perfect! The price is fair considering that all. I am VERY impressed!
