![]() | Fujifilm XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR Pros: Versatile. Very good sharpness. Excellent OIS Cons: At 135mm the sharpness is not at the top, but only at long distances and at infinity. The autofocus in low-light area suffers from locking onto the subject. Opinion: Excellent and versatile on all fronts. Truly exceptional value for money. I recommend it, on the second-hand market it is found at affordable prices. It can easily replace the basic 18-55 zoom. The stabilizer compensates for small apertures and you can always shoot in any light condition. Very good sent on April 03, 2024 |
![]() | Tamron 11-20mm f/2.8 Di III-A RXD Pros: Weight, focal length 2.8, Cons: Unacceptable loss of sharpness at corners, flare, chromatic aberrations, price per Fujifilm mount Opinion: Mount for Fujifilm. Encouraged by the many positive reviews, I bought this lens and immediately put it under pressure with tests at different focal lengths and using different apertures. The result I got was photos with an "unacceptable" loss of sharpness at the corners at all focal lengths and apertures. On the contrary, it seems that the lens does not react at all to the closing of the apertures, i.e. it does not improve at all. Then it's not that the center makes you cry out for a miracle. I was very sorry, but I had to return it to the seller. Maybe a faulty specimen? maybe. Each lens has its own story, and before buying, I think you need to try directly, instead of blindly relying on reviews, which are very useful, but, from the production, a particularly weak or critical copy can happen. sent on November 15, 2023 |
![]() | Samyang 12mm f/2.0 NCS CS Pros: Sharpness, lightness, great opening f.2 Cons: Chromatic aberration Opinion: Excellent sharpness ! Compared to the emblazoned Fuji zoom 10-24, at 12 mm is better than the Samyang ! Amazing but verified ! There is the problem of chromatic aberrations on the periphery of the frame, they are easily eliminated with Capture One Express for Fujifilm. ( but there are ) I, like others, have found the infinite focus on the L and not on the symbol. I, like others, also use Focus Peaking for THE MAF which I find very efficient. Physiological and controllable distortion. Nothing to detect in negative. Recommended. sent on June 06, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon Z 14-30mm f/4 S Pros: Sharpness, linearity, absence of any optical problems Cons: Nothing Opinion: Like 24-70 f.4, this lens is set with a different philosophy from the Nikon AF S -ED objectives and all the others of the past. No problem with distortions, AC, light drop. If there are software fixes, they are welcome. ( Think Fujifilm, which has always applied internal fixes to its goals. The result is excellent at all focal points. Great Nikon. Rating 10 sent on December 10, 2019 |
![]() | Nikon Z 85mm f/1.8 S Pros: image quality, build quality, lightness, blurry Cons: Price Opinion: The lens is characterized by wide brightness that gives a pleasant blur. Extraordinary sharpness and very low weight. In overall terms it is in no way comparable to the yet excellent 85 f.18 G.Excellent in every respect, except the price that remains high, but perhaps commensurate with the quality and taking advantage of the promotion Nikon takes home with 100 euros discount. sent on November 07, 2019 |
![]() | Fujifilm XC 15-45mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS PZ Pros: Image quality Cons: The construction level is not high, but you knew. Opinion: I still can't imagine that such an economic lens can produce images with extraordinary sharpness. It is true it has its building and functional limitations, but the sharpness produced is not afraid of comparisons. It was purchased in kits, and its value (from kit) I think is around 150 euros. It is not really the case to sell it (from used its value will be 100 euros ) so I decided to keep it and use it, given the quality it churns out. sent on October 30, 2019 |
