![]() | Nikon Z6 II Pros: Sturdy body with excellent ergonomics, accurate and fast autofocus system, high dynamic range, accurate viewfinder with accurate color display, high continuous shooting at 14 FPS whether in mechanical or electronic shutter mode. Cons: It doesn't have a rotating screen. There's no bird-finding section in the focus settings. Opinion: Nikon has, as always, made a powerful full-frame camera with a very solid body. This camera has a fast focusing system and a very wide dynamic range, especially at high ISOs, which you can easily increase to ISO 12800. Unfortunately, when you switch to electronic shutter, sometimes has a rolling shutter at high shutter speeds. Also the camera's screen does not have a full rotation, which is sometimes a pain. sent on August 01, 2025 |
![]() | Nikon AF-P DX 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G VR Pros: Fast and silent focus, Lightweight body, Very good sharpness, Good for close-up photography, Very good lens for travel and wildlife Cons: No AF/MF switch button, No VR button, Noticeable CA especially at 300mm, No hood in the box, Plastic mount Opinion: This lens is very suitable and attractive for APSC-sized sensor cameras and is largely suitable for wildlife photography. The fast and quiet focus system and acceptable sharpness make this lens comfortable. If you accept the plastic mount, CA problems especially at 300mm and lack of control buttons (AF/MF and VR) on the lens body. The close minimum focusing distance of this lens makes it good for close-up photography of large insects. sent on July 29, 2025 |
![]() | Tamron SP 60mm f/2 Di II LD Macro Pros: Great sharpness, low CA, very low distortion.F/2 wide aperture, 1:1 ratio Cons: Slow and noisy AF, The body quality is not very good and there is a possibility of dust entering the lens. Only 7 blades aperture. Opinion: I've had this lens for almost 11 years, and Except for the slow and noisy focus and the not-so-sturdy body, in other respects this lens is very attractive and good. The wide f/2 aperture also makes it a great option for portrait photography. Very little distortion and CA, along with very good sharpness, make this lens very likable, provided you can overlook the old focus system and not-so-good body. sent on July 28, 2025 |
![]() | Nikon Z 50mm f/1.4 Pros: Fast f/1.4 aperture. Strong build quality. Weather sealed. Beautiful and circular bokeh even in the corners at f/1.4. 37cm minimum focus. Beautiful vintage style colors. High sharpness even at f/1.4. Excellent flare resistance. Cons: Missing AF/MF switch button. Not S line-up. A small amount of CA may sometimes be seen at the edge of the bokehs. Heavy vignetting from f/1.4 to f/2.8 Opinion: Although the Nikon Z 50mm f/1.4 lens is not in the S-series lens line-up, But its very good build quality and strong optics give it very good results even at f1.4. The very special and beautiful bokeh and vintage-style colors may not be to everyone like it, but believe me, this color and bokeh style of this lens makes it very special and attractive. The biggest weakness of this lens but in my opinion, is the missing AF/MF button, which slows down the photographer's work. Also, the heavy vignetting at apertures wider than f/2.8 can be annoying for some people. Trust this lens. The high sharpness along with very minor optical abberations make this lens an ideal choice. sent on July 04, 2025 |
![]() | Sigma 150mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM Macro Pros: Excellent sharpness even at f/22, Almost no chromatic aberration, Zero distortion, Two hoods in the box, Portable bag, Great stabilizer, One of the best macro lenses in the world Cons: Heavy weight, F/5.6 maximum aperture at 1:1 ratio Opinion: There are very few macro lenses in the 150mm focal length range, and this Sigma lens is one of them. The lens has very high optical quality. Sharpness is amazing at all apertures, even at f/22. The best output of the lens is between f/5.6 and f/11. The most important thing is that this lens has very low aberrations even in the corners (close to zero), which makes it an excellent option for astro photography. The only two major drawbacks of the lens are: It's heavy weight, which makes it a bit difficult to carry, and the lens has maximum aperture of f/5.6 at 1:1 magnification ratio. sent on February 02, 2025 |
![]() | Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 Pros: Fast AF, Excellent focal length, Very low CA, Excellent sharpness from 150 to 400mm ( Very good sharpness from 400 to 600mm), Close minimum focus Cons: Strong vignette, Heavy weight Opinion: A very good lens for wildlife photographers with an excellent focal length range.Although the aperture is 6.3 at 600mm, so it is not a negative point for this price range. The lens has vignetting problem at all focal lengths, but it can be fixed in editing. The heavy weight of the lens is painful. Also, the lens body is very good and can be easily used on mirrorless cameras with a firmware update sent on December 15, 2024 |
