![]() | Olympus OM-D E-M10 II Pros: Portability, customizable menu, construction, tilt screen, full of sw functions Cons: Difficult menu at the beginning, grip if you have big hands Opinion: A great camera with a great yield. Well made, metal body that despite its size spreads a sense of solidity. It has perfect dimensions to be taken anywhere, so thumbs up for reportage photography. In my mountain excursions she was a fixed companion and when equipped with the 14-42 she was in a pocket of her jacket. Very useful tilt screen. I used it in every context, from frost to scorching heat, never a hesitation. A real creative treat are some software features such as live composite and live time. It's an m43 with all its pros and cons, as far as I'm concerned I've never felt the need for a larger sensor except in starry sky photographs. Bona dowry of dedicated objectives, the 12-40 then is wonderful. sent on December 26, 2022 |
![]() | Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM Pros: Flare resistance, weight/bulk, sharpness. Cons: A bit plastic. Opinion: An excellent wide-angle lens for purely landscape use. Totally indifferent to flare and f8 very sharp. It is the perfect apsc lens for landscapes remaining in Canon, it is light and even if apparently plastic it is well assembled. Just to be meticulous, with the hood it becomes a bit wide to store in the backpack, nothing special. Mounting a slim circular filter I did not have any kind of vignetting problem. sent on December 04, 2022 |
![]() | Patona Premium BLS-50 Pros: Comparable in everything to the originals. Cons: Tendency to bulge. Opinion: The batteries themselves do the job correctly, they are completely comparable to the originals. Bought a pair of batteries on Amazon, I had problems with swelling after about 3 years of use on one of the 2, so much so that it was difficult to extract it from the camera seat. The other, on the other hand, has begun to swell after about 5 years but still allows it to be inserted in the seat. The original olympus, on the other hand, has remained perfect. I have always charged them all with the charger supplied with the m10 mkii and the use was identical for all three copies in my possession. sent on December 04, 2022 |
![]() | Canon 450D Pros: Lightweight, portability, resistance, battery life. Cons: Display resolution, noise at low iso. Opinion: My first SLR, for her I can only spend nice words. It was a bomb, very resistant to everything, I took it with me around the world and it would still be working great if they hadn't stolen it from me. 'Shut up them. In doing the timelapse I had found a second life, the mpx contained allowed me not to overload the memory and still guarantee me 4k video. The files he returned were very nice, with the 10-22 Canon then, they were superb. Infinite battery, I got to 1000 shots and still it was not completely discharged. It suffered from noise at relatively low iso, already at 800 there was grain. If you are a novice, my advice, given the low cost and given the infinite Canon optical park available, is to take it with your eyes closed. It is the right way to learn. sent on November 22, 2022 |
