![]() | Nikon D200 Pros: Professional (physical keys), tropicalized and indestructible, precise autofocus, ridiculous price Cons: Obsolete sensor, lack of autofocus fine-tuning Opinion: Camera for amateur photographers who come from analogue, connoisseurs of timing, apertures, exposure and who want to reuse all the old nikon kit without further expense. Useful for professionals in extreme situations where theft, loss, breakage of the vehicle are very likely. Not recommended for pixel paranoids, video magnifications and technical data. Recommended for photography courses, photojournalism and for the production of spectacular prints. sent on December 04, 2023 |
![]() | Panasonic GF9 / GX850 / GX800 Pros: Amazing sensor, size, lightness. Cons: 4/3 format, screen unusable in strong light situations, it is not pocket-sized. Opinion: Socket used to replace the rx100 iii for photojournalism and industrial documentation work. Very high quality, very good shadow recovery, usable in printing up to 1600 iso. Unfortunately, the 4/3 format is not universally accepted for professional printing and, therefore, a part of the frame is lost in the 2/3 cut. For amateur use it easily replaces more expensive systems, producing images indistinguishable (if not for geometry), from those of an ff. sent on March 27, 2023 |
![]() | Nikon D80 Pros: Funny, suitable for old-fashioned photographers, it gets (sometimes) even the photos wrong, amazing black and white. Cons: It has none of the amenities that modern cameras have. Opinion: I bought it back after many years, practically as new. What can I say! For an aged photographer it is like being young again. Before shooting you have to study the "light", in the interior you have to mount the flash, you have to know how to frame and how to expose. Fantastic! Don't ask her for plastic photos or monstrous hdrs: she just doesn't do them. I did a job for a magazine: the print is superb! sent on January 11, 2023 |
![]() | Fujifilm X100F Pros: Beautiful, cult object, level optics Cons: Useless, expensive, obsolete Opinion: I took it too because it reminded me of my old nikon fm2 and the leica m4 I had when I was young. Going for a walk on Sundays is great, cartier bresson and 70s intellectual does a lot. then... if you need to do a professional portrait or use flashes in the studio, you need to shoot your beautiful full frame reflex. Well, you may tell me, but it's a street car. Okay, but even there, when compared to my little rx100 it weighs twice as much, it's not pocket-sized, it doesn't have a zoom and it's very slow; if you use it for editorial work, moreover, sony's results look much better. It is an obsolete machine, good for nostalgic old photographers like me, who will place it on the shelf together with the old leica and the nikon. sent on April 10, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon D7000 Pros: Well built, robust, weatherproof, very low price (in 2021) Cons: Focus, with little light, poor. Opinion: It's still a great REFLEX to carry around. Perfect A3 prints, good iso resistance up to 3200. Intended for those who know the rudiments of photography and do not look for useless electronic gadgets. The photos that his other owners posted below speak clearly of his photographic quality. It is recommended to combine with very bright vintage optics. sent on March 09, 2021 |
![]() | Nikon AF-S DX 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED VR Pros: Robust, crisp, versatile Cons: not very bright Opinion: The best Nikon (in value for money) for photojournalism and reportage. Once in the car allow you to move from the landscape to the portrait with extreme ease. The VR system is great and photos moved it is very difficult to take. Of course, due to its low brightness, it is not suitable for taking specialized photographs in which a very limited depth of field is required. But, in normal life, how many times have we really needed this possibility? If you find it at a reasonable price take it without delay, you will not regret it, just look at the photos published below by its owners ... sent on March 08, 2021 |
![]() | Tamron SP 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II LD Pros: light, cheap, bright Cons: considering the price none, maybe the ring a little hard Opinion: Great when it needs brightness. Perfect for ceremonies, photos in Churches, interiors, parties. At the edges a little soft? I'd say all the light ing objects are a bit soft at the edges. Isn't it defined as a fixed? It's true, but do we always care about this whole definition or is it just mental masturbation? Of course, if you need it to print posters or murals it's not good. But for prints up to 30x40, videate and social is indistinguishable from the original Nikon 17-55. For photo amateurs a must. Recommended sent on November 02, 2020 |
![]() | Sony RX100 II Pros: Light, pocket-sized, orientable screen, wonderful lens. Cons: Don't expect to have a reflex in your hand. Opinion: The best compact ever. Useful to carry always with you, in the absence of a reflex. Very useful for street photography as it easily goes unnoticed and is very responsive. Very good burst shot. Flash embedded decent, small and unwieldy. If you want to have fun with photography, experimenting with shots, photographing in the free moments is a "must have". I always carry it with me in the bag I go to work with, ready to use. I highly recommend it to advanced photoamateurs who love photography and a little less cameras! sent on February 12, 2020 |
![]() | Nikon D3400 Pros: Lightweight, great value for money, good high output, same processor and top series sensor Cons: Bracketing shortage, internal autofocus engine failure, not compatible with old optics, raw files not compatible with some mac os operating systems Opinion: I was mainly photographed for pleasure during my travels and trips, so I was looking for a light camera and it was not embarrassing to the movements. Given the prices of the mirrorless or compact professional (honestly overvalued), I bought this little nikon reflex and I found it great. Same functionality of my old d7000 and pictures, as far as I'm concerned, of the same level if not higher (with half weight). I've paired it with a 35mm 1.8 and I'm always with me, no problem. "I'm not able to give more technical feedback, but having photographed for over 40 years, I think I can recommend it to all amateur photographers looking for a car capable of delivering great images without becoming an unbearable footprint and a senseless blow to their portfolio. sent on November 07, 2017 |
