![]() | Fujifilm XF 16-55mm f/2.8 R LM WR Pros: Construction, materials, top sharpness Cons: Heavy, stable only with Battery Grip or XH1, stabilizer Opinion: Since I bought it hardly the deadlift... I think it is, in my honest opinion, the best all do in the APSC category. Nitido already at full opening, excellent resistance to flares, AC practically nothing, lampshade of excellent workmanship and with a great hook, filters from 77. The only "painful" note, if we're going to look for one, is the weight... it makes itself felt! especially on small Fuji machine bodies. Tested on xpro1 is really complicated to handle; The Killer combo for this lens is the XH1 that I purchased specifically to use this lens (I abandoned XT2). Another sore point is the lack of stabilizer but, even here, XH1 and passes the fear! sent on November 26, 2019 |
![]() | Fujifilm X-H1 Pros: Grip, stabilized sensor, EVF Clarity, touch screen, double SD slot Cons: Weight, Battery Duration, Value Hold Over Time Opinion: After 2 years of testing I stopped with purchases because I think I found the ultimate machine body (for me at least). It falls perfectly in my hand despite the weight not quite feather, so much so that sometimes I take it without shoulder strap to go out to photograph. The stabilized sensor is frighteningly effective, the duo Xh1 and 16-55 2.8 is the ultimate solution, sometimes I find myself photographing with unthinkable times. Good ISO seal, in my opinion you can use up to 6400 exposing correctly, worth a little too much noise in the shadows. EVF among the best I've ever tried, touch screen (I don't use it but it's still a great option). Bad battery life compared to the competition and holding the value virtually non-existent but this is a good reason to get one soon! If the future XH2 will have USB-C, touch screen at XT3 levels I'll evaluate a gearbox otherwise I'll be fine so! sent on September 25, 2019 |
![]() | Fujifilm XF 23mm f/1.4 R Pros: Opening, construction, fabulous yield Cons: Horrible lampshade, a noisy thread in the MAF Opinion: Goal to buy, without ifs and buts. One of the best for the Fuji X system, a very bright actual 35mm for excellent environmental portraits, street and why not even some landscape. Fantastic color yield, addictive... once mounted you will hardly remove it. Only neo the original lampshade really ugly and maybe a noisy wire in the focus, defect shared with the brother 35 1.4 but here less accentuated. sent on September 23, 2019 |
![]() | DJI Mavic Air Pros: Stability, portability, overall video quality, material quality. Cons: Wifi connection sometimes dancer, height from the ground that complicates a bit life in certain rough terrain, at first a bit difficult for newbies. Insufficient battery Opinion: Great drone, DJI leader in the Prosumer sector and you can already understand it at the time of unboxing. Very stable in the air, quite intuitive controls but for the newuser at the start I recommend to read, reread and reread the manual again and see all the possible videos on youtube. I will not talk about super portability as it seems superfluous to me; for me to go from Phantom 3 PRO to Mavic air was a liberation. Having everything within reach of shoulder strap is priceless. Great videos, very smooth (it also depends on how you set it). The Wifi connection is good in the open field but suffers a little distance (see FCC mode that amplifies the signal). Once opened you have to deal with the really poor ground height; you will never be able to take off or land in a field with grass taller than 10 cm; better buy a landing pad to stay safe. The only downside in my opinion is the battery life, which is less than the 20 minutes declared by the house... if you overdo it a little bit with the gas we drop drastically under 15 minutes! sent on September 23, 2019 |
![]() | Sainsonic Kamlan 50mm f/1.1 Pros: Fascination of the opening 1.1! -Baffed aperture ring-11 blades for optimum Bokeh even at closed diaphragms-construction metal-plastic good workmanship-nice heavy despite the mini size of the lens-Manual focus... Cons: ... Manual focus-difficulty in pecking the fire at TA-fluid aperture ring but a hard little bit-ultra-light lens-front cap horrible mouse grey (could not do it black? what...)-Mal supports backlighting Opinion: Taken for a nearly ridiculous new figure on Ebay, arrived in about ten days. It comes in a tiny little box... all in all I thought it was bigger! Full-Manual lens without c * * * I and decks, there is no chip so no data transmission EXIF construction more than good all glass-plastic-metal, conveys a good feeling of solidity. Fascinating opening 1.1, tested on Fuji x-Pro1 to TA I got caught with focus peaking about 90% of the first test shots. Excellent ring nut with 11 blades for an always pleasant bokeh; Unfortunately it shows a lot of chromatic aberration to 1.1 especially in backlight where it highlights some problems. Horrendous in my opinion the choice to make a black lens with a grey mouse front cap that does not center virtually anything (but just want to do the NIT...) All in all I would recommend the purchase even given the cost really affordable for everyone. Excellent "School Ship" to enter the fascinating world of manual optics! sent on January 07, 2019 |
