![]() | Fujifilm XF 55-200mm f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS Pros: quality, stabilizer, 55 mm footprint, weight Cons: lampshade a bit cumbersome and hard to screw Opinion: I bought at an attractive price this lens 2 weeks ago taking advantage of the Christmas cashback . Having purchased a fuji x t 20 with 18-55 I was looking for a canvas and the choice fell on this lens having also evaluated the fuji 100-400 (later discarded for reasons of clutter) and the fuji 50 140 (too short). What to say, the lens is of excellent craftsmanship and quality, as standard Fujifilm. Smooth but not too much, great stabilizer (I took perfectly sharp photos even at 1/10th of a second). Great sharpness to all the focal points. At full extent on tripods maybe it is a bit unbalanced, because with my befree manfrotto once tightened the head the system has a bit of yielding (but clearly it is a limit of the tripod). Recommended! 9/10 vote sent on December 18, 2018 |
![]() | Fujifilm X-T20 Pros: Quality/price ratio, material quality and construction, weight, size, quality of files (especially JPEGs), ISO hold, focus points, AF Cons: Battery life, SD slot not accessible on tripod, lack dedicated ISO ring, shutter button hideous, it would serve the illumination of the keys for night shots. Opinion: I bought this camera in hindsight to a rationalization of the previous kit (Canon 6d + 3 optics). I needed a little bulky and light camera to always carry with me, even (and above all) in the mountains. For the moment the use matched with the 18-55 in kits that I consider to be excellent, and the 55-200. Right from the start I was very impressed by the quality of the ready-made files and the variety of Fujifilm film simulation, while it took me a while to get used to the electronic viewfinder, accustomed to the optical 6d. Also the ergonomics I think is excellent, the body is really small but for me that I have pretty big hands the grip is quite solid and not tired if used all day. The menu is quite rational and with a great possibility of customization. Excellent touch screen LCD tilt, which I think is indispensable on a modern camera. I don't know how to judge the video industry since I don't care at the moment. The ISO hold up to 6400 is acceptable, besides you see a lot of disturbance. In my opinion you feel the need to dedicate a ring for the fast regulation of the ISO, without each time enter the menu of the shooting parameters. Ultimately a great camera that, for the use that I do not make me regret the reflex (at the level of ratio Pro/cons, clear that the quality of the files of a FF in some cases are not the same thing!!). For me: Rated 9. You're a weirdo! sent on November 08, 2018 |
![]() | Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L USM Pros: Value for money, lightness, construction, fluid rings, sharpness, USM, zoom inside the barrel Cons: Lens hood, bright white color Opinion: I have owned this lens for a few months and I am very satisfied with it. I was very hard at first if I bought the IS version, but then I did not regret the choice, and I saved a lot of money. The construction is excellent, as well as the optical quality of the first order, the ultrasonic engine does not miss a shot even with low light and is very precise. The sharpness and contrast is spectacular and the colors well saturated. It weighs just 700 gr. and at the end of the day you do not feel tired at all. The MAF and zoom dials are very fluid and comfortable to use. The only flaw that I can attribute is to be really cumbersome and conspicuous with the lens hood mounted, but also that touch of professionalism :-) For sure is a lens that for focal / performance / price should not be missing in its kit, highly recommended! sent on March 06, 2018 |
![]() | Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Pros: Value for money, weight, size, versatility Cons: MAF ring, plastic construction, lens hood to be purchased separately Opinion: I bought this lens like everything to do for my Canon 60d as I was looking for a versatile and economical lens. Well it was really a good buy. It costs very little and always returns excellent results, with beautiful colors and good sharpness. A f1.8 is not really a blade but already f2 up improves. The maf is an adventure in manual not having the indicator of distances but all the flaws are justified by the price. In the last I recommend it to those who want to have a good lens to start. sent on January 14, 2018 |
