Reviews of cameras, lenses, tripods, heads and other accessories written by Andry219

Microsoft Translator  The following opinions have been automatically translated with Microsoft Translator.

sony_a7iii Sony A7 III

Pros: Sempi Pro body, very good high ISO resistance, price, wide range of lenses available (as for all Sony) excellent price resistance.

Cons: Sony menu, autofocus absolutely not up to par.

Opinion: I have been using this camera for a year and a half (it should be specified that I take 99% photos and almost 0 videos). I came from Nikon d7200 and later d750 (which I think is the best reflex ever produced in terms of quality price). Wanting to switch to mirrorless and considering Nikon not yet mature in this segment, I decided to throw myself on sony and as characteristics the A7III was the one I considered most suitable. The camera body is well made and I felt quite good in it. The customizations are endless. In environments with low light it performs well in terms of rendering in files, although I think that the autofocus is somewhat to be reviewed. Used both sony and third-party optics. For landscape photography it is certainly a fantastic camera, if you start doing some events then things change. I often found myself having to struggle with unresponsive focusing. Even the menu in my opinion needs to be revised as the Italian translations leave something to be desired and I often used it in English. For the rest, in terms of ergonomics I also found myself quite well despite not having small hands, just get a little hands-on. The files are very good and workable in post. It is an excellent machine and for those who do not have to do high professional work I would say that it is perfect. Today you can find it new at a great price (for the features it has it is perhaps one of the best) if we then enter the world of second-hand we are even under 1k euros which is a bargain.

nikon_d750 Nikon D750

Pros: All! machine for my perfect use. Fantastic ISO sealing, wonderful files. Fantastic clarity and colors. Excellent ergonomics. Today finding a camera body with these features at such a price is almost impossible in my opinion (clearly used). Dual SD slots.

Cons: The biggest con is that they no longer produce it. then if you want to find other flaws, we could talk about the weight.... but I really don't know what else to write. We could then talk about the video side and the monitor that is not completely adjustable, but not exploiting it in this sense in either case, I don't feel like putting them as cons.

Opinion: I bought this camera after switching from a Sony a58 to a Nikon d7200. Already there the pass was enormous. Then I entered the FF world by selling the 7200 and buying the d750..... What can I say, in my opinion another planet. I find it a fantastic machine. For landscapes, portraits and events it is spectacular. then if the environment is not well lit it certainly does not take fear and by raising the ISO it churns out decidedly excellent files. I had made the mistake of selling it to switch to a Sony a7III (I wanted to reduce the weight of the kit and look for something more recent...) huge mistake, in the end I bought another d750 and also kept the sony. I can only recommend it to everyone!!

nikon_d7200 Nikon D7200

Pros: Semi Pro body, good ISO hold, dual slot for SD and AF motor on machine body

Cons: Maybe a bit heavy for an APSC but absolutely nothing else

Opinion: I used a year this camera body, moving from a Sony a58 with which I have been doing bones for a few years. What about another world. sharpness, dynamic range and semi pro body make it a flagship for the Nikon APS category. Excellent hold of the ISO up to 1600, then the noise is felt... The gust is more than good and the 18-140 kit works very well seeming to be made just for this camera body. Definitely the advice. Changed only to switch to d750 for my needs.
