![]() | Canon EF 15mm f/2.8 Fisheye Pros: Angle of view, sharpness even at TA, excellent construction, price, bright. Cons: In manual focus it is a "grinder", the cap is removed (solved with a round of Teflon, the one used by plumbers, on the hood :)) Opinion: I was looking for a wide angle for the 5DIII, Sigma I do not trust, even if at these focal lengths it is difficult to run into the f / b focus, the '8/15 Canon too expensive. I had the opportunity to try this and what to say, fantastic, it was just what I was looking for, with the adjustments of CR and PS "fix the photo" and you find yourself a crazy angle of view with distortions much more than acceptable. For me a very good lens. sent on January 14, 2023 |
![]() | Canon EF 200mm f/2.8 L II USM Pros: Light, crisp, price, speed maf, yield. Cons: Perhaps the lack of the stabilizer (for those who use it). Not very versatile? of course, it's a fixed and you know it before you buy it. Opinion: I was undecided between this lens and the 70/200 2.8 but, considering the weight and use I had to make of it I preferred the fixed. Mounted on Canon 5DIII I can use it for an entire afternoon without blaming the slightest tiredness, mounted on Canon 700D I find myself with a 320/2.8 and, under normal conditions, I struggle to distinguish the shots between the two machines. On the 5DIII, with the self-focus menu set to the right, i do not miss a shot in sports photos (riding), on the 700D I have some more difficulties for the limits of the car's af. I also have a 135/2 and the yield is absolutely comparable. Taken used for about 400€, if you do not need the greater versatility of the 70/200, I think you can not ask more of this lens. Highly recommended. sent on June 15, 2021 |
![]() | Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM Pros: zoom range, sharp enough Cons: price Opinion: Good evening everyone, I have a Canon 700d with 18-55 kit (not stab.) For about two years, given the reviews I decided to finally take a better lens and I tried a 15-85 used, when I reviewed the photos (magnified on the monitor), compared with 18-55 and with my very old canon 75-300 (to use a phrase of the forum), has all wrong, I took a picture of the same subject at different focal lengths and diaphragms with my goals and then immediately repeated with the same parameters after mounting the 15-85. Most probably this specimen had trouble focusing, as well as being less sharp of my 18-55. So I contacted a famous Roman shop that sold a guaranteed used this lente.rnHo remade the same test. rnrisultato: same quality and sharpness of my 18-55, best rather than the 75-300 (would see). I'm not an expert, maybe I'm too picky or I guessed a super lens kit or maybe he's right writer you have to be lucky to buy a good esemplare.rnUn saluto.rnAntonio. sent on January 31, 2017 |
