LA BASILICA DELLA MADONNA DEL ROSARIO La Basilica, così come la Cappellina delle Apparizioni, fu costruita per rispondere all'esplicita richiesta della Madonna; "Voglio che facciano qui una cappella in mio onore, che sono la Madonna del Rosario?" (13 Ottobre 1917). È costruita sul luogo dove il 13 Maggio 1917 i tre Pastorelli giocavano "a fare un muretto", quando improvvisamente videro un lampo che li spaventò e li indusse a riunire il gregge per far ritorno a casa.
