Teresina era da poco arrivata in Italia con i suoi genitori adottivi, due amici che hanno fatto una scelta d'amore, importante e speciale e che il destino aveva fatto incrociare con il mio. Era una bella giornata di Aprile, una di quelle che hanno nell'aria un profumo diverso dal solito, il sole acarezzava gli alberi in fiore ed il prato verde del giardino sfoggiava un arcobaleno di margheritine,viole e primule che come damigelle consacravano la primavera. Teresina apparve sin da subito spaesata fra le braccia di mamma e papà tanto diversi da lei, ma al tempo stesso incuriosita da quei colori che forse nel suo paese lontano non aveva ancora mai visto. Decidemmo così di metterla seduta sul prato per farla ambientare un po' e lei nella sua titubanza dopo un attimo volse lo sguardo a cercare gli occhi di quella donna che l'aveva portata li, ma in un abbraccio ed un bacio tutto si trasformò in un caloroso sorriso.......così iniziò quella scelta d'amore che ancora oggi passo dopo passo la vede crescere........
