con Nikon TC-17E II, 1/1250 f/8.0, ISO 400, tripod. Diaccia Botrona (Maremma), Italy.

Con la posizione che ha assunto, martino e' come una molla precaricata. Liberera' tutta l'energia con un movimento torsionale velocissimo che portera' il pesciolino a sbattere violentemente contro il posatoio. Le ali aperte hanno una funzione equilibratrice che impedira' al corpo di perdere stabilita'.
