This post introduces another great piece of gear I've started using since last year: the Olympus Telescopic Auto Tube 65-116. It's very compact and works extremely well especially with a CSC camera like Sony NEX.

The subject is a Gymnosoma sp. fly. The almost white background is created by the clouds. The exposure was a bit tricky, I've manually overexposed by 1.7 EV.

51 exposures at ISO 100 made with Sony NEX-7, reversed Schneider-Kreuznach APO-Componon HM 60/4 on Olympus Telescopic Auto Tube 65-116.

Photographed on 21.08.2013
