La foto è equilibrata nella composizione e non ti sei lasciato prendere dalla tentazione dei "colori imperdibili" ma irreali che, a mio giudizio, sono sempre incoerenti in questo tipo di foto. Comprendo la tua soddisfazione.
Come hai scritto tu stesso, la foto è un classico che non lascia molto spazio alle interpretazioni personali. Dal punto di vista espressivo non ho molto da dire. Non è una critica, ognuno sceglie il genere per il quale si sente più portato. Ci vuole un po' di tempo per inquadrare i propri gusti e le proprie inclinazioni. L'importante e non scordare che la fotografia è un mezzo d'espessione dei nostri gusti, della nostra personalità. Continuerò volentieri a seguire i tuoi prossimi lavori.

Anche io ti faccio i miei complimenti per il livello raggiunto in un anno, io manco mi ci sono messa a provare queste tecniche, anche se ogni tanto un pensierino ce lo faccio.
Apprezzo molto la pp che, nonostante sia fortemente presente (e non potrebbe essere diversamente, visto che è la fusione di più scatti), non è troppo evidente e, come già detto da altri, non urlata o volgare (come a volte capita di vedere).
Per la composizione anche io avrei forse tentato un taglio più panoramico, tagliando un pezzo di spiaggia.
