2/04/24 Dasdana m. 2191. Un impegno pomeridiano non mi consente di affrontare percorsi più impegnativi, quindi da solo, alzandomi presto, decido di andare in Maniva, vicino a casa, anche se è considerata una zona minore dello scialpinismo. In realtà le condizioni che ho trovato questa mattina erano a dir poco eccellenti e ne è uscita una sciata molto bella. Partenza ore 7, 30 dal Bonardi m. 1750 e salita quasi solitaria sul Dasdana su uno splendido tappetino di neve di pochi cm che copre completamente le brutture della sabbia del deserto… Dalla cima la decisione di scendere dalla pala nord completamente vergine e lascio la firma della parte più interessante. Stando a sinistra scendo poi sempre in questa splendida farina, fino alla malga Mai m. 1809 e risalgo nuovamente cima Dasdana. Dalla cima molti convenuti si sono buttati dalla parte del casermone , ma c'è ancora spazio e decido di lasciare anche la mia traccia che mi porterà ben oltre il casermone stesso: su Firn su neve dura e farinella arriverò fino a m. 1600. Terza ripellata e in compagnia di Massimo risaliamo fino al Dasdanino con un certo compiacimento per la sciata fatta e conversando piacevolmente su comuni conoscenze, a cui racconto della perdita della mia Fiore, ma ci soffermiamo a ricordare anche figure straordinarie che ci hanno lasciato prematuramente come il grande caro amico comune Pietro Messa, Sono quasi le 13 e in discesa la situazione è già cambiata , il sole ha già sciolto il tappetino di neve nuova … e ricompare la sabbia.
