Ho fotografato la Settimana Santa di Siviglia, spiccano le sculture raffiguranti la Madonna sotto un baldacchino: immagini barocche con corone d'argento o d'oro, mantelli ricamati e tuniche di velluto che lasciano intravedere solo il volto e le mani. È una delle tradizioni più spettacolari ed emozionanti: devozione, arte, colori e musica si fondono nelle processioni rituali che rievocano la morte di Cristo. I membri delle diverse confraternite, indossando abiti caratteristici, percorrono le strade reggendo le portantine processionali al ritmo di tamburi e musica. 70 confraternite scendono nelle piazza, raccogliendo circa 50.000 nazareni. Ogni giorno si svolgono processioni pomeridiane e serali. Ogni confraternita parte dalla propria chiesa seguendo un percorso specifico.
