È il più antico ponte trasportatore del mondo e venne costruito nel 1893, progettato da Alberto Palacio, uno dei discepoli di Gustave Eiffel. La costruzione del ponte fu la soluzione proposta dall'ingegnere al problema della connessione delle due città senza bloccare il traffico navale lacustre del Porto di Bilbao e senza dover costruire massicce rampe per scavalcare il fiume. So già che Fabio F77 avrà da regalarci qualche perla tecnica, intanto un saluto a tutti coloro che passeranno da qui.
