But I think the original is on display in the museum of Rome in Trastevere (Piazza di Sant'Egidio). And there's no queue...!!!
:-o ;-)
Great shot!
Greetings!
Oleg.

Congratulations on the realization. Perfect framing. Perfect black and white. I've been trying to photograph it for weeks, but you have to queue.

Thank you very much, Oleg Tsapko, always very kind and flattering towards me!
I inquired about it: contrary to what some people say, what can be admired in S. Maria in Cosmedin is the original mask: a copy of it, already exhibited in the atrium of Palazzo Braschi (Museum of Rome), has recently been placed in the cellar.
Best regards

The caption dear Enrico and the historical description of the mask are excellent.
The shot has something unique in itself, I would venture the definition of an excellent street art ;-)
Many congratulations My friend

Thank you very much, Fabio F77, always present at every new post! Dear regards PS:
Speaking of details: I couldn't resist... and I made a horrendous push-button panel disappear surmounted by another device (alarm sensor?) positioned to the left and half height of the green door next to the mask ... :-D :-D
