6 agosto 2023 Lokken-DK. Furebby coastal battery...L'erosione costiera è stata grave nella posizione della batteria tedesca a Furreby, a nord di Løkken. Dal 1945 il mare si è eroso fino a 90 m dalla costa, per cui la maggior parte dei bunker sono scivolati lungo la scogliera alta fino a 20 m e sono completamente visibili sulla spiaggia. La batteria costiera apparteneva alla marina tedesca e aveva il compito di impedire uno sbarco alleato a Løkken. Nella zona di pesca di Løkken c'erano buoni collegamenti stradali con l'entroterra, per cui l'esercito tedesco riteneva che il pericolo di uno sbarco qui fosse particolarmente grande. Pertanto, nell'autunno del 1942 e all'inizio del 1943, la marina tedesca allestì una batteria rispettivamente a sud e a nord di Løkken. La costruzione della batteria a Furreby, "Lökken-Nord", iniziò nel gennaio 1943, e i cannoni erano pronti a sparare su postazioni di cemento aperte il 6 febbraio. Nella zona pianeggiante alle spalle della duna furono costruite baracche di legno per l'equipaggio. Nella prima metà del 1943 l'equipaggio della batteria contava complessivamente 123 uomini.
