Lovecraftian Rome sent on January 04, 2024 (18:50) by Claudio Ricci. 27 comments, 522 views. [retina]

at 38mm, 1/80 f/2.8, ISO 10000, hand held. Roma, Italy.

Nice detail read, you did a great post job regarding the cleanliness of the noise, the details are well highlighted.

Thank you! As far as I'm concerned, it's the most beautiful square in Rome, or at least the most interesting.

Congratulations, a truly remarkable shot, detail, absence of noise, light. I don't know the Olympus, but from your caption, I'd say a masterpiece.
Happy Epiphany,
Carlo

Even a "masterpiece" may be a bit excessive, but thank you very much! The 4/3 (now it's no longer called Olympus but even I still want to call it that) have achieved top-notch results, I wanted one for a long time but then for various reasons (economy, personal problems and no more photos taken for a long time) I postponed and postponed. And the sensor of the Panasonics (not the FF ones, but the 4/3 ones) is more or less at the same levels.
Greetings.

A beautiful shot, with a subject rich in detail and very sharp.

Not using post production, or at least minimal, I wouldn't be able to get these results, at least I think. Happy Epiphany

Thank you Biric Hino.
CMG: Generally I try to make it minimal and conservative (the post prod), but there are shots that, to come out as I want, take even half an hour (very rare that it pushes me further).
Greetings.

Fascinating image of a beautiful detail with a beautiful detail, light, blur and beautiful colors.
Many congratulations Claudio for the excellent realization.
