Cosa si nasconde dietro al detto “Va' a BAGG a sonà l'òrghen!” # Il trucchetto del pittore nel paese a corto di denaro Tradotto in Vai a Baggio a suonare l'organo è il detto meneghino, forse ora un po' perso, usato per mandare via gli scocciatori, come il più conosciuto Va' a ciapà i ratt. Dietro al detto però c'è una leggenda popolare legata alla ristrutturazione della chiesa parrocchiale di Sant'Apollinare di Baggio. Raccolti i fondi per ingrandirla e per inserire un magnifico organo, quasi alla conclusione dei lavori, un imprevisto: tutti i soldi erano terminati prima di aver potuto acquistare lo strumento. Per non deludere i parrocchiani, si ricorse allora al trucco che ha poi reso Baggio protagonista del proverbio: un pittore dipinse un bell'organo a canne su un muro interno della chiesa. Purtroppo negli anni la Chiesa Vecchia di Sant'Apollinare – in via Ceriani 3 – è stata completamente ristrutturata e dell'organo dipinto non è rimasto nulla se non nelle narrazioni popolari.
