Ma neanche still life... Quindi lo metto qui.

Elegant the setting that surrounds this cicada, interesting to see that it is sucking something, probably moisture on the surface of the bark. Very good, bye.

Thanks John, I think he is feeding: he has stuck his trunk in the trunk and is sucking the sap.
I am not a macrophotographer, but actually even in the garden there is a vast world to discover. Without syruping kilometers as it happens to me with birdlife, especially in this period that I have some problems of time and movement.
I think I will look for a more suitable lens, even economic, to explore a bit this almost new world for me.

Thanks Fulvio, I quite specialized in identifying them, thanks to the garden and the mess they make ... ;-)
Greetings

Interesting shot :-o
Feeding on sap they adapt to various plants, from me they prefer the high branches of olive trees and observing them is very difficult.

Thanks Mark.
I think it is a choice inherent above all to the safety that can guarantee more leafy trees.
But I wondered if there were also harder essences to drill and if they were looking for species with softer bark.
Hello.
