Si tratta della Luna più grande e luminosa dell'anno. La Luna per l'esattezza risulta il 7% più grande, perché si trova alla minima distanza dalla Terra, che si chiama perigeo. Visto che la coincidenza tra Super Luna e plenilunio avviene ogni 10 anni ho voluto approfittare di questo evento astronomico raro per scattare qualche foto visto che non lo avevo mai ripreso. Le condizioni meteo non erano ideali, ma quello che inizialmente sembrava uno svantaggio alla fine ha reso la foto più bella a mio avviso, infatti la presenza di una coltre di nubi di densità diversa ha diffuso la luce lunare tutto intorno creando una bella atmosfera. Ma quello che ha impreziosito la scena è stata la presenza di Saturno che, altra coincidenza, in questo periodo si mostra non distante dal disco lunare. Ho voluto caricare la foto a piena risoluzione così potrete fare uno zoom e vedere meglio Saturno con i suoi anelli. Contentissimo di essere riuscito a riprendere contemporaneamente questi due meravigliosi oggetti celesti e senza neanche un telescopio.
