Tired but happy.
Not even hard work affects the joy of their soul!
Always smiling despite difficulties. It is their way of living their lives religiously. We still have something to learn.
Dear Fabio, you have still been able to grasp the essence of the photo, even before the image.
Valuable testimony ;-)
Have a nice day

Very nice and interesting document.
Excellent light and colors, but, above all other considerations, I like how you have been able to make the human dimension and dignity of work.
Congratulations Fabio and a warm greeting!
Andrew

I learned another one! I did not imagine that they grew sugar cane, usually we think of South America. You have caught the moment when the collector grabs the barrel, with his left hand, ready to deliver the blow with the cleaver held firmly in the other, turns to you and hints at a slight smile, as do the others who complete the scene in the background. Covered with hats and rags protect the face from the sun and dust, who knows how much effort for a miserable pay! Good morning dear Fabio and thank you for the new story.

This smile thing, although barely mentioned, you and Renato have caught it and highlighted immediately ... well done you... :-) you were pleased ...

Covered with hats and rags protect the face from the sun and dust

That's right, especially the dust... In those few minutes that I stopped there with them I had clothes and skin completely covered by a tiny and annoying black powder ... like his face on the other hand... This is an activity, that of burning the fields, forbidden precisely because of the pollution problems it causes... but someone, as in this case, does it anyway ...
Thank you very much Bruno. Until next time.

Beautiful photo and compositional cut that make it a story in which the apparent humility of hard manual work builds an aura of dignity for this worker of the fields 8-)
