L'analemma è, in astronomia, è la proiezione ortografica del moto apparente del Sole sul piano del meridiano locale; essa serve per determinare l'altezza degli astri, in particolare, quella del Sole perché è utile per costruire gli orologi solari (detti anche quadranti od orologi analemmatici). Spesso guardando le meridiane può essere osservata una curva a forma di “otto" che interseca le linee orarie. Questa curve si chiama appunto analemma oppure lemniscata. L'analemma tuttavia, con un trucco fotografico, si può vedere anche proiettata in cielo: nella storia della fotografia astronomica, Dennis De Cicco, fu uno dei primi negli anni '90 ad escogitare l'idea di fotografare il Sole per un anno (quando passa al Meridiano) sempre alla stessa ora e a intervalli giornalieri costanti. Il risultato consiste nel vedere la curva “ad otto" proiettata in cielo in direzione Sud. Questa intuizione si è successivamente diffusa a tal punto che le foto dell'analemma sono molto diffuse ancora oggi. Seguendo questa idea ho realizzato una composizione fotografica unendo alla curva dell'analemma altre due curve realizzate con la stessa tecnica ma ad orari diversi: quella di sinistra alle 07:20 UTC e quella a destra alle 15:00UTC. Inoltre il giorno del solstizio d'inverno ho ripreso il percorso del Sole durante tutto il giorno. Si possono notare le curve prossime ai crepuscoli fortemente inclinate a differenza di quella al Meridiano che è verticale. Ho ripreso le tre curve dall'aeroporto di Viterbo, ma dalla mia postazione ero impossibilitato a riprendere il panorama perché si vedevano delle istallazioni militari e quindi ho deciso di spostarmi di 30Km considerando che questa differenza non varia visibilmente l'analemma. Dati tecnici curve dell'analemma: Inizio ripresa Marzo 2022, fine ripresa Marzo 2023, frequenza di ripresa: mediamente uno scatto ogni 15 giorni, con intervalli minimi di 7gg e massimi di 20gg. In base alle condizioni di nuvolosità. Orari degli scatti: 07:20 -11:10-15:00 UTC Camera di ripresa: Nikon Z9 impostata a 32 Iso Ottica Nikon S14-24/2.8 chiuso ad f/22 Tempi di scatto: da 1/32.000 a 1/8000 in base alle condizioni del cielo. Sono stati eseguiti 80 scatti ai dischi solari, ma utilizzati solo 68. Sito di ripresa Viterbo Aeroporto (42.22.228N-12.05878E) Dati tecnici del panorama: Ripresa il 1 Novembre 2022, ore 11:10 UTC Camera di ripresa Nikon Z9 impostata a 32 Iso Ottica Nikon S14-24/2.8 chiuso ad f/6.2 con tempi di 1/160. Somma di due panoramiche a 360 gradi di 12 scatti ciascuno: una per il suolo ed una per il cielo. La panoramica ha una estensione di 360 gradi di azimut e 130 gradi di altezza. Sito di ripresa: acquedotto delle Arcatelle (Tarquinia, Vt - 42.258649N-11.815915E)
