One of the very first shots with the Russian catadioptric; The focus is not simple on non-static subjects and the donut blur is certainly particular ...

Hello Danca, unfortunately the only hitch was that the geese were moving forward and then I "missed" the focus on the eyes, but in the end, considering that it was the first exit with this particular optics, something nice I managed to pull out :-) Thank you for visiting and for the compliments ;-) Ciao Danca, purtroppo l'unico intoppo è stato che le oche si stavano spostando in avanti e quindi mi è "sfuggita" la messa a fuoco sugli occhi, ma alla fine, considerando che era la prima uscita con quest'ottica particolare, qualcosa di carino sono riuscito a tirar fuori Grazie per la visita e per i complimenti |

pas de deux among the blurred ... a complicated optics, I had a manual focus lens but I sold it because I could not focus properly ... |

In fact it might even seem that the two subjects are dancing in sync with each other :-) With the Zenit MTO 500 the thing that at least partially facilitates focusing is the extremely long and fluid stroke of the relative ring: I had the opportunity to briefly try a catadioptric Tokina 400 and there things get very complicated, since at a millimeter rotation of the ring you have a displacement of at least 1-2 meters of the focus point. When I'm out and about in "around" mode, in places I already know, or where I can come back without too much flapping, sometimes I dabble with manual focus optics from 40 years ago ... I generally prefer to use zoom lenses born for digital, but I admit that vintage lenses are a lot of fun.
