Questa foto l'ho già pubblicata a colori e in quell'occasione in didascalia illustrai un po' di storia del Castello Carlo V. Più di uno juzzino, mi aveva chiesto a suo tempo, di vedere la versione in bianco e nero: eccola. Questa volta, vi parlerò brevemente dei miei ricordi giovanili legati a questo posto. Nei lontani anni 65/70, il porto di Monopoli era frequentato quasi esclusivamente dagli "addetti ai lavori", e quindi rimaneva un posto abbastanza discreto per i nostri incontri privati. Per carità, "privati" è una parola grossa che implica chissà, quali nefandezze giovanili. Era semplicemente un togliersi dalla curiosità e dal pettegolezzo cittadino, quando si stava frequentando un ragazzo o una ragazza. Tutto si svolgeva alla luce delle bellissime lampare che si riflettavano sul mare, mentre la luna, impicciona e ruffiana, accompagnava le nostre passeggiate mano nella mano. Un grande grazie a chi vorrà lasciare un segno del suo gradito passaggio.
