Il mio metodo Ombra Grigia

, 1/250 f/1.4, ISO 160,

Thanks for sharing, the "clear" part behind the subject you did with a gradient? Or curved with "softened" mask, or something else? If you want to explain...

Consider the study of lights: Rembrandt manages a lateral beam,
here we have two mirrored at 1mt the height of the softbox must wrap the subject from top to bottom and the inclination of the light must never be projected on the background indirectly, but must illuminate Rembrandt style the subject on the lateral beam and lateral counter on the same 45 degrees, So forming a butterfly , a little advice if you do not like that the fill light is seen in the eyes of the subject as the annular LED , use a panel or white or gray and turn the LED on the panel and with the panel use this bounce light on the face of the subject

I read the careful explanation and I must say that you got an excellent result. The eyes of the child are obviously the center of the photo but do not distract from the complex of the composition. And congratulations also to the little model. Hello and Season's Greetings!

The result is excellent. I really like the analysis that determined it, the path that leads to this photo. I really like it. I find that it is particularly suitable to draw out all the psychology possible from the eyes of a subject who has a plane facial expression.
:-)
