Molin di Bucchio, di proprietà privata, è il primo mulino che s'incontra nel fiume Arno. Sin dal Medioevo questa zona è stata segnata dalla presenza di opifici idraulici controllati molto probabilmente dalla famiglia feudale dei conti Guidi. Oltre all'attività di molitura portata avanti per secoli dalla famiglia Bucchi, la località è stata anche sede di un'importante troticoltura.
