La natura di notte

, 1/80 f/16.0, ISO 1600, tripod. Specie: Vanessa atalanta

Dear Marco, I had never noticed that this species was hairy like a mammal. Congratulations also for your nocturnal explorations and related stories. :-)

Thank you very much Claudio and Bepi, I really appreciated your comments.
Despite the unfavorable situation I brought home many photos at high magnification.
Yes, Claudio is a very hairy species, but it is not the only one, several lepidoptera are but to the naked eye and in passing it does not seem.

Thank you very much Nadia, these are details that you can not always notice with the naked eye.
Every time it rains I always bathe, for convenience and shutter speed I do not use covers or shelters, I cover and hermetically close only the backpacks, everything that remains outside gets wet. I
carry a rain cloth that I put on the ground every time I sit down, but this time the butterfly needed it more than I did :-D
