Mineral Moon Rf 800 | sent on November 10, 2022 (20:47) by Daomao. 10 comments, 653 views. [retina]

, 1/200 f/11.0, ISO 100, tripod.

No tracking. Seeing medio-buono.

excuse the question: 3000 shots in how long?
I do not understand the speech to avoid rotation

I do not know but if the metadata is correct they give me 5 minutes, which is not bad at all since many complain about the burst / buffer of r7
I do not know exactly the name of this effect, however you can do a test on stellarium centering the moon and see that with the passing of the minutes it will rotate tot degrees, If there are too large margins Autostakkert creates trailing which in this case you can see just on the lower right side. I do not know if there is a software that takes care of adjusting this rotation

You are talking about lunar libration, a phenomenon with which you certainly did not have to deal in that shot, considering that this movement takes many days to be observed.
But stacking has certainly helped you solve other issues, such as atmospheric interference. So I renew the congratulations. Great result.

I just did a test with stellarium setting it at 23 on October 8, and going on with the minutes you can easily notice the rotation, stellarium calls it parallatic angle because when it is at 0 degrees actually the moon has a correct angle.
p.s yes stacking helped a lot, despite the decent seeing for the usual snr speech the amount of detail of a single frame was ridiculous and was definitely less workable. Maybe you can do even better with some filters or with a better seeing but I think I have reached the limit of this perspective (which surprised me a lot I must say)
