In foto la Cascata Maggiore del Parco Aymerich, Laconi (OR). Visitare questo parco è stata una grande emozione per me. Un luogo magico, un gioiello naturale nel cuore della Sardegna. Ma Laconi è questo e più di questo, infatti, è il paese che ha dato i natali ad uno dei santi più venerati in Sardegna e non solo: Sant'Ignazio da Laconi, la cui antica dimora è tutt'oggi visitabile. La cascata è alta 15 metri, immersa in un bosco di Querce e Lecci. Non per nulla è chiamata " Cascata Maggiore", è infatti la più alta tra i punti di caduta del parco ! Non sorprende di trovare acqua a fine ottobre nonostante abbia piovuto poco, infatti Laconi, stando a quanto si dice in paese, ospita almeno 30 sorgenti (in passato pare oltre 50). È una cascata molto particolare perché le sue acque, ricche di bicarbonato di calcio, provocano un fenomeno chiamato "travertinizzazione". Il bicarbonato depositandosi crea delle formazioni, chiamate appunto travertini, che in sostanza sono come delle piccole stalattiti. Il parco ospita anche il castello della famiglia Aymerich, Marchesi di Laconi dal XVII secolo. Un carissimo saluto a tutti !! #Cascate #Waterfalls #Acqua #HDR #Bosco #Autunno #Autumn
