Beautiful framing of this portion of church, helped by the particular effect that creates this fish-eye.
I'm thinking of getting one for my fuji, but I'm undecided between the 8 mm Samyang and the 12 always of the same brand. They speak well of both, maybe the 12 is a little less fish-eye than the other and maybe for me it's better, but I don't know...
... Recommendations? ;-)

Hi Danca, personally when I took the fish-eye 8 mm. I had no doubts since at that time from Foto-tip was on offer at about 120 euros shipped ... See what offers you find, maybe even on used ... Personally, I was fascinated by the extreme angle of view given by the 8 mm.
The 12 mm. suffers less from flare in strong backlight and makes good already at f / 5.6 ... On my specimen you have to pay attention to the flare against the light and to have good sharpness it is better not to go below f / 8 ... Personally, I am very satisfied with this.
Thank you for visiting :-)

Interesting and well made photo. I
own the 12mm 2.8 Samyang fish-eye and I am enthusiastic about it as they are optics
with an excellent quality-price ratio and that give excellent results.
Obviously they must be very well controlled when shooting! :-D
Congratulations for this very successful and suggestive shot.
Greetings, James.

Hello James, you said right: optics with excellent value for money, to check well when shooting ;-)
Just today I did some shots inside a basilica, where I had already tried with the Sigma 10-20 to take some pictures, but the most satisfying results for me were those provided by the Samyang fish-eye ... Putting the camera at about 25 cm. From the floor, with vertical framing, I managed to shoot all the beautiful flooring, the altar and all the frescoed ceiling :-) ... soon I will publish this photo ;-)
Thanks for the comment and ... Have fun with the fish-eye :-)

I look forward to seeing your new ones with Samyang (and also with other goals!)

It is not easy to use such extreme angles of view.
Here (but also in other photos) you have succeeded very well, the effect of optics emphasizes the architecture of this church.
