Sto scattando alcune foto da un punto panoramico, sfruttando gli ultimi raggi di sole, quando una maestosa aquila reale passa velocissima proprio sopra di me, tento di prendere il teleobiettivo nello zaino, ma ormai è già sparita. Poche decine di metri più sotto, in un impervio pendio ricoperto dai faggi, il forte bramito di un cervo maschio mi ricorda che la magica stagione autunnale è alle porte. Alcuni istanti dopo, un lupo adulto ulula in lontananza, seguito a breve da altri giovani esemplari, è un nuovo gruppo familiare che sto monitorando da più di un anno e a inizio estate sono nati tre cuccioli. Un pizzico di vera "wilderness" vicino casa, alcuni posti non ti stancano mai!
