Thank you very much Werner, Mary and Nadia for your constant appreciation :-)
Among the various photos I really like this one for the particularity of the pose and the eye.
They camouflage very well, have the same color as the soil and hide in the grass.
At night, however, it is easy to identify them, I always walk in silence and without a torch and I immediately recognize their noise when they jump in the darkness :-D

Nadia I was born in the countryside, I have an animal spirit :-D
When I photograph animals in their environment I try to be as quiet as possible and I leave no trace of my passage. The animals are obviously very clever and notice you anyway, but they are more cooperative and do not consider you a threat, even often they stop to look at me curious and approach them.
I often stop in silence in the darkness to listen to the sounds of nature, and trust that every little movement comes immediately to the ear

But what a wonder Marco, to each his specialization, yours is really exciting mainly because it is made in nature in respect of the environment and its beautiful animals ...
The shot is fantastic

Thank you very much Roberto.
Nature photography is very difficult, in addition to knowing how to photograph you need to know the environment and animals very well, otherwise you risk doing damage without even realizing it.
I like to photograph animals as I meet them, in silence and without scaring them.
I'm also sorry to use the flash but unfortunately it is the only solution.
In this photo I used only one flash positioned on the left, so as not to disturb the toad too much and I also managed to create a very particular contrast

You have the intuition and instinct of the true naturalist, Marco. Very nice the story of the observations and night photographs. 8-)

Congratulations Marco, great job.
The light highlights the thickness of the work; then the detail also contributes to the beauty of the shot.
congratulations.
Mauri
