Too bad for the replaced plug, otherwise it would have been just a nice original historical find ...

Hello Raimondo, what a pleasure to see you again. Modestly, making holes, especially in the water, I can do well. No, it is a bar to be fixed to the wall to allow me to better climb the entrance steps to the house, and they are the holes of the brackets for fixing to the fischer fixed in the wall. I waited months, but I wanted to do it myself, despite the friend blacksmith, who offered himself several times. I said it, and you understood it, it is not a great photo, indeed, but at least I awakened the photographic spirit, noticing the contrast between the 2 drills. Not being able to wander outside, I will do something here, hoping for better times.
A very dear greeting, Alessandro.

Hello Claudio. Thank you for your visit and your comment. You saw right, as for the plug, but unfortunately, the original was no longer in accordance with CEI, and the cable was in pitiful condition. Having the aluminum body,I also installed the grounding cable on a modern plug. I like these old drills, I have 2 others, bigger. An old Star and a Metabo, all working very well. I will tell you, that they solved me brilliantly certain situations, with their low number of revolutions, low power in watts, but with very high torques. I also have modern drills, a professional Makita and Metabo. Here I needed a low rpm for an 8.5mm tip on normal iron. Said, done.
A cordial greeting, Alessandro.

Times change, design changes, but the old man still makes the holes, excellent historical heirloom, I am the same age :-D

Hello Daniele, thanks also to you for your welcome comment. As I said, I no longer remembered how to upload a photo to Juza. I wanted to do it, cmq, even if the photo is not striking. I hope I can take more pictures. It is for me a slow return to a slow, very slow, normality
A cordial greeting to you too.
Alexander.

Hi Loris, thanks for the comment. Eh, yes, the design of the bodies of the drills changes, but these have, at least for me, a particular charm. Maybe because, the first one I used at work, September 1966, was just like this, even if that had another switch. He was, of course, a Star, professional division of Black and Decker. Today I needed a drill with a few turns, so as not to seize the tip, and he did himself honor, with an impressive ease, despite the years. Here now the markets are still blocked, but if I find others, in good condition, I do not let them escape.
A cordial greeting, Alessandro.

Hello Francis, very happy to find you. The idea flashed to me seeing the two tools close to them on the work surface. A little fix, and go. I had to use the smartphone, because the SLR was a bit too cumbersome to use, not to mention that the batteries will be discharged. Come on, it was a way to make 2 shots, to the good, unpretentious, but always 2 shots. Think that I didn't even remember how to upload a photo on the site anymore. I hope to be able to do something for next autumn. I was left on the goiter photographing that village in the mountains near the plain of Tivano, and the change in B / W. We will see to find something simpler. First, however, I must be authorized by the doctors to abandon the walker. Hopefully.
A very dear greeting, and a thank you.
Alexander.

Hello Giancarlo. Seeing them on the bench, the classic light bulb came on. On the principle I did not want to continue, given a certain, I do not say banality, but little interest of the whole. Then I thought about the different eras of the subjects and I arranged the scene to the beautiful and better and I shot. There was too much desire to publish something after more than a year.
A cordial greeting, Alessandro.

Hello Claudio, thanks for your comment. In fact, the brand of the old drill is a little uncertain. According to the seller it is a Metabo, instead according to those who provided me with the new switch it is a Star. I just could not keep the old cable, unless I used it, because it was too worn. Glad to have seen you again.
A very cordial greeting, Alessandro.

The old one seems designed to last over time ;-)

Hello Renato, thanks for the comment. In fact, it still works great. It is less fast, but that was normal, given the HSS tips of the time that were big troubles if they warmed up, diluting, and then to be thrown away, so the drills turned slowly, but they were and are unstoppable.
A cordial greeting, Alessandro.
