I know, it's not the best as a cut :-) or rather using an 800mm to shoot Andromeda is a bit like shooting a canary with a shotgun :-D
But there is a reason why I used such a strong focal length and that is that I wanted to be able to get the maximum detail (which my equipment allows) on the outermost arms and be able to better see the nebulae that populate them
I think the result is not bad, since I was able for the first time to see even some details of the much smaller M110 ;-)

Zeppo you could try to make a "mosaic" however very nice as a shot :-)

The hours available are few in the summer and if I also started to make a mosaic the signal would have been a little little to be able to highlight the structures
P.S. Yesterday there was an excellent seeing, but from the next few days it will be a crap! :-/

Azz, with 800 the angle of view is this? I know that I am tight even if I halve the 1500 then ... :-D
As always very good!

With what machine? Mine is Sony APS-C, so it would be equivalent to a 1200mm

Ah no then I'm wider, I'm on FF, thank goodness, I thought I had done badly with Stellarium! :-)

I use this site to evaluate the framing and focal length to be used, it's done really well!

I've always said there are better amateurs than most of the proff.
Zeppo is one of them.
